here to tell you that the anniversary of @haddysprouts
team is coming up so I wanted to quickly say a few things about her and our little business.
When I quit my video game industry photo/video job almost 4 years ago to work full-time on this business, the biggest thing I missed about it was being surrounded by extremely creative people every day. So this past year, having someone else working alongside me that truly believes in what we are trying to build has been amazing.
Besides being incredible with curriculum development, client communication, and flawlessly running classrooms full of kids, Hadley manages so many of the business tasks that often overwhelmed me on my own. I used to put so much pressure on myself to get it all done, which for this type of business and my personality, just isn't sustainable.
She also doesn't let me talk myself out of good ideas because they "might not work." Instead, she puts plans on our calendar or sends an email to get the idea in motion. GAH! This alone has been huge for the momentum of truly relocating the business from LA to Seattle.
In a short amount of time, we've been able to envision a whole new plan for the teaching side of the company and are continuing to hone our adaptable photography and art curriculum for kids. All that while making custom art for families remotely and photographing families and our kids along the way.
Sorry for the sappy post, but I am so thankful and happy to have found a creative business partner like Hadley and she deserves a little (ridiculously long) love note for all her hard work! #oneyearanniversary #bizpartners #thesproutingimage
