Day 20 Inktober! Breakable.
I think beliefs are breakable when there's an open mind.
So I got to know that in certain cultures, food is offered to deities. This particular example is where the statue representing the diety is washed in milk. The sad part is that when people are buying and pouring this milk as an offering, there's hungry poor kids nearby begging for something to eat or drink. And people choose to refuse them to offer milk to this representation of their higher power, which btw, goes into the drains and gets wasted anyway.
So the limited resource of milk taken from cows is being wasted by going into drains. It feels like we're disrespecting and not valuing animals and also other human beings for whatever personal gain we feel from giving such offerings.
I think any human being with compassion should offer that food to someone who needs it instead. And also that, if it exists, every higher power would prefer that. What do you think? Do you agree ?
I made the figures more generic this time. Trying something new and catching up on inktober 💪✨ What do you think about generic human figures like this? Do you prefer how I usually make them instead ?
I'm going to post time lapse videos on my YouTube channel and a flip through at the end of inktober on YouTube. So please go subscribe to my channel and turn on the notification bell please ! (Link in bio )
