Made the decision today to add a second deadlift day to my weekly training, as I’m looking at a comp with a deadlift for reps event. Today felt good with the focus being on raw lifting, no straps, no belts, nothing but chalk. I’ve over focused on simple 5x5 sets in the past so this was a big change up today. 1x10@90

Side note, the power keg is fully on display these days, but to get my strength and confidence back up I’ve had to embrace the bulk. Once my strength is where I want it I will consider trimming down, but in the meantime #bigguysdoitbetter
