Introducing my raw and cooked vegan menu to my amazing clients’ wedding guests ❤️ Thank you for such a beautiful experience!
等一个人，玫瑰奶茶 🌹 .
Had some time the other afternoon while waiting for bae so I popped by Eight Degrees Taiwanese Bistro where I had this lovely glass of Rose Milk Tea ($4.80) 🌹🍵 So pastel, so pretty!!! 💕
[Latergram] Another week, another supper at RK Eating House 🍴 .
This time round, we decided to try their Mutton Chop because it looked absolutely delectable on the menu 😍 Sadly, it was a case of expectations vs reality because the Mutton Chop did not come grilled on the bone as seen in the picture on the menu but was instead diced and served up in some red sauce 😖 While it tasted alright, it was definitely not what I expected and I guess you could say this Mutton Chop was way too chopped for my liking!
In addition to the Mutton Chop and pratas, we also ordered our usual Kambing Soup and I took videos of the breaking of the yolk cos I was hoping to capture an #eggporn
moment ✌ .
Failed the first time because the yolk just plopped back into the soup unbroken 🤣 and it was only after a couple more tries that I finally managed to break that glorious golden yolk 🍳 although it wasn't as Instagrammable as I thought it might be! 😅 .
Oh, and we also got a huge cup of Teh Tarik ($3.55) to share and by huge, I mean it was ginormous! Don't even attempt to drink this all by yourself unless you're a camel 🐫 hahah!
Fairy lights and ice cream delights 💛
🔸Matcha Waffle $68
Some of our dear followers would know that we actually recommended the pancakes from Hiroshi in our previous post. This time we would like to introduce you to their matcha waffles, served with smooth chestnut purée and matcha ice cream.
We absolutely love the combination of this plate. The waffles were cooked beautifully and served hot. You would never go wrong in satisfying your sweet tooth with Hiroshi's desserts! 💚💚💚

can finally say been here, Thai’d that 🥩
Words can’t espresso how much you bean to me. 🖤
Wedding catering is the BEST because all the love and joy in the room. It’s infectious. The bridal couple and their guests all flew in from Malaysia and we convened in a gorgeous mountain location for the wedding. The kitchen window met the bottom of a massive tree’s root. I felt very hobbity working on that gorgeous kitchen with a giant tree root right within touching distance. Photo by aiken.raphael
🔸Duck & Waffle $178
Although the menu didn’t have many savory options for dinner, everything we ordered was super yummy 😋 and booking with @eatigo_hk
even gave us a discount 🤩
The highlight definitely was the duck and waffle, as both were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside 👏🏻 the delicious sauce and the egg made the dish more flavorful and less dry 👍🏻

2 of my sisters were in a durian mood last night so we decided to have a durian supper! So we headed out to this new shop in Bedok to support the about-to-get-married-soon young couple / entrepreneurs' business!
By the time we got to the shop, they were just about all sold out! There was no more Mao Shan Wang so we took the remaining Red Prawn. The couple then de-husked the shell and arranged the creamy seeds into take-away boxes for us. Each box was put into another bag and then it was vacuum sealed so that it's pungent aroma didn't escape whilst in the car.
The Red Prawn sweet variety was amazing!!! Light and sweet, there was plenty of meat and the seeds were small. Though the red prawn is not as creamy as the mao shan wang, I loved the sweetness and I didn't get the jelat feeling even after I polished off a box myself. AND the pricing was super value for money!!!
Looks like I have a new favourite variety of durian!! The couple was so friendly and sincere and they even gave us a complementary bag of mangosteens to cool our bodies after all the heart durians 👍👍👍💃💃💃💟💙💗💗💛💜❤😎😎❤

I was craving some Beef Rendang last night so the hubster and I went to a Nasi Parang place known for its dry Beef Rendang. .
We ordered the Rendang, Spicy Beef Lung, Chicken Curry, Mixed Vegetable Curry. Samosas, Spring Rolls and Potato Croquetes. .
The Beef Rendang was quite tender and was full of flavour. The lung was just nicely spicy with big flecks of chilli and chilli seeds. The veggy curry even had tempeh and jicama/bangkwang in it, giving contrast textures to the other softened vegetables.
It was a good meal that satiated my craving for the Rendang and I guess we will be making this place part of our rotation list 😉😉😉👍👍👍
Florian Cafe 福里安花神咖啡 | Club Sandwiches Florian 俱樂部三明治🥪+ Affogato Florian Gelati迷戀福里安 + Ice Cioccolato Gelati 巧克力奶油香草冰淇淋🍨
Just thought I have been a while not to update my Instagram. So let me throw it back to last month I accompanied with my friend to Taichung and we tried this famous cafe. Here is a good lesson. Sometimes you should believe the review from Google (they only got 2.5 starts)😐. I like this club sandwiches but not too amazing with its price. Not to mention both of gelato are totally nothing special.☹️ Maybe we’ve ordered the wrong items or been there at wrong timing. We got there at awkward time so we can’t order any breakfast or lunch set and we don’t wanna have afternoon tea set. Anyway, at least we know how was it.😂

Good morning and happy weekends everybody!!! 🌞
[KL Trip] Snapshots of our meal at Wong Ah Wah Restaurant, the popular local restaurant located along the bustling Jalan Alor streets.
In addition to their famous BBQ chicken wings which are said to be the best in KL, we also ordered the kam heong lala, BBQ stingray and frog legs with spring onion. It was a sedap meal 😋
There are many brunch fish in the brunch sea, but Filipino brunch might be the brunch for me. Haven't been able to stop thinking about the garlic rice and longganisa sausage patty 😍 #youcompleteme
A multi-concept space combining a furniture store, restaurant and bar gives you House of 木 (mù).
The chef shared with us that he has over 20 years of experience as a chef working in Michelin restaurants and those alike, yet at the same time, trying to ensure that such dishes can be made available to the masses at an affordable price.
One of the highlights would be their Truffle Cream Crayfish Risotto ($26). Their risotto and pasta dishes come as a DIY option where you can choose a base (starts at $14) followed by a sauce ($6) and topping ($5-6).
The truffle cream sauce (top up $6) was rich and filled the air with its aroma, but was not too overpowering. Topped with crayfish claws that were so succulent and plump and seared perfectly; you’ve got yourself a winning combination.
Thank you @burpple

[KL Trip] Taiyaki~ Ah this sweet fish-shaped 🐟 snack that most of us would probably remember having as a child.
Used to always get the taiyaki from Takashimaya B2 when I was younger and so it was with great delight that I tried out this Chocolate Croissant Taiyaki (RM7.50) - an interesting take on the familiar fishie - when I was in KL.
The crispy croissant pastry went really well wirh the rich chocolate filling 🍫 and this was indeed a sweet treat that was great to munch on as we shopped around the huge Pavillion mall 🛍
🍠 [sweet potato]
🔸Purple Sweet Potato Waffle $64
🔹Vanilla Soufflé with Ice Cream $54
This dessert house has had a Michelin🌟since 2016
At first I was little skeptical as the store looked like any other normal dessert place (think Cong Sao and Chung Kee) 🙈 but the desserts were quite delicious
The purple sweet potato waffle was crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the sweetness of the ice cream 🍦 and sweet potato mash was just right
The soufflé was very very soft but it did not have much taste 😐 it was a little bit like eating air, so even if we were quite full after dinner, we could still finish it all, which I guess is a good thing 🤔
