and have to admit that they served one of the best rissotos we've ever had in a decade!
Though French Fine Dining is always identical to pretty yet petite portion of dish, this seafood rissoto is exceptionally big! With fresh tiger prawn, fried Barramundi, scallops, and squid, this will never go wrong.

How to make ellu podi sadam for Navratri Neivedyam? Now, before i share the recipe, i want to share my thoughts on our ancestors' ways of eating. Have we ever wondered why we make what we make for every festival? Like the concept of eating sundal and dishes like this ellu sadam has a lot of science behind it. For instance, sesame seeds are good during cold weather. They produce body heat and hence not recommended during the summers. Because navratri comes around October, November which are chilly weather times, sesame seeds are a great way to keep your body warm internally. Now back to the recipe -
Cooked rice 3 c
White sesame seeds 1 tbsp
Black sesame seeds 3 tbsp
Channa dal 1 tbsp
Urad dal 1 tbsp
Dry red chili 6-7
Pepper corns 7-8
Roasted peanuts 1.5 tbsp
Salt to taste
Ghee 1.5 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Peanuts a handful
Curry leaves a few
Urad dal 1 tsp
Hing a pinch
