Oh to be young again... 😆
The Astoria Column and @tiagoooromero
on the top! This beautiful historic tower is overlooking the mouth of the Columbia River on Coxcomb Hill in Astoria, Oregon. Built 92 years ago in 1926, it’s 125-foot (38 m)-tall and has a 164-step spiral staircase towards to an observation deck at the top 😅. The tower was built in 1926, financing by the Great Northern Railway and Vincent Astor, in commemoration of the city's role in the family's business history. Consegue ver o Tiago lá no alto? 😱 😂. .

Astoria Column. 164 steps going up❤️
Made it to the top and now I’m here
July 8: This afternoon we made it briefly to the Astoria Sunday Market. We bought a gift, coconut tea and some fresh baked cookies. We walked to the water (Columbia River) to see some ships and then drove to Astoria Column (an art-covered pillar, built in 1926, made of concrete that reaches 125 feet skyward overlooking Astoria and the Columbia River). We climbed the 164 stairs to see the panoramic views from the top! The boys also got to fly balsawood airplanes (100% biodegradable) from the top. The column celebrates the exploration that helped the US expand west to the Pacific Coast. #astoria #astoriasundaymarket #astoriacolumn #panaoramicviews #164steps #columbiariver #grangerventures
