Breaking the (IF) at @willamettemarketdeli with chickpea & tomato soup of the day whipped up by @doc10ten plus A @sweetearthfoods Benevolent BLT!
Per my last IG story and they DM’s that ensued, yes I practice intermittent fasting (IF) on a regular basis and have done so for many years but I don’t follow any specific schedule, instead I practice (IF) intuitively based on how my body is feeling, what my day looks like as far as coaching and training etc. for example I ate a good sized dinner at 6pm on Thursday and took in zero calories until 4pm Friday (i had black coffee at 5am and only water throughout the day and my own training session) trust me you wont starve or lose muscle mass!
Science has documented it and I have personally experienced the numerous benefits to practicing (IF) but it is not the holy grail and may or may not be right for you. For more info Google “benefits of intermittent fasting” and if you have more questions feel free to ask below. Happy Day!

It's just as important to work full force, with everything you have, and to push yourself than it is to simply take a step back. There's a lot more to the world you'll find when you take a step back and relax. Put your phone down and go outside. Do something you enjoy without the Internet at your fingertips. It's so easy to never look up from a screen and see the world for what it is. We live in a time where staying inside on the computer or phone is a habit and a need for some people. But we also live in a time where there's a lot of beautiful places to see, that might not be beautiful forever.
Pesto bruschetta skillet chicken 😋 I just kinda threw this together because my mom wanted bruschetta chicken but I was really craving pesto so here’s the compromise lol😂
Here’s what you’ll need⬇️
For the tomato bruschetta, combine all ingredients below:
🍅1 box cherry tomatoes cut in quarters
🍅2 tbsp fresh basil chopped 🍅1 clove minced garlic
🍅2 tbsp olive oil
🍅1 tbsp balsamic glaze
🍅Pinch of salt and pepper
For the chicken🐥:
🍅2 tbsp olive oil
🍅4 chicken breasts 🍅Pinch or salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning
🍅Fresh buffalo mozzarella sliced thin
🍅Basil Pesto (recipe on previous post)
To make the chicken:
1. Preheat a cast iron skillet on high heat with olive oil. Meanwhile, season the chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides. When the pan is hot, add the chicken and brown for 5 minutes on each side.
2. Add one slice of buffalo mozzarella to each chicken breast.
3. Ladle on the bruschetta mixture
4. Drizzle with homemade pesto! (Use my 5 ingredient Pesto recipe on my previous post)
5. Transfer the skillet to the oven heated at 385°F for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the chicken is fully cooked.
