I will be starting a 7 Day Challenge, “Clean Week” October 1st! It will be 1 week of eating healthy, nutritious food, 1 workout a day and 1 superfoods shake a day! If you want something easy to follow to start you off with some healthy habits, this is a GREAT place to begin! The program is all laid out in front of you, with what to eat, what workout you’ll be doing PLUS some awesome recipes to follow! This is the VERY first program I did in 2017 and I LOVED it!!! .

Cardio is important! 🏃♀️🕺🏻😀 (ok don’t stop scrolling now just because I mentioned cardio 😛🙄) But seriously -there are so many benefits to incorporating cardio into your regime. And it doesn’t necessarily mean you have to be on a treadmill for 30min everyday -here are some cardio exercises you can do at home 😀🙆♀️ and the benefits of what cardio does for your body 🙅♀️

I wanted to devote yesterday’s posts solely to my hair change, but for those who care (probably no one but me) I did in fact workout yesterday, right after my haircut, haha! I found it to be too easy. So today, I went up in weight from 3kg per dumbbell to 5kg, and damn if that didn’t definitely make today’s workout tougher! It feels so good to working out again.

Flying like a butterfly and stinging like a bee 🐝
I had plans of walking outside but the rain stopped me so I searched for at home exercise videos. I found a 21 day transformation series on Amazon hosted by @ajbognar
and lemme tell you, it KICKED my ass! It was only 20 minutes but I was constantly moving. 👊🏽
So here’s a post exercise selfie where I’m drenched in sweat. Excited to keep going 🙏🏽
I was 2 days behind and no way could find the time to double up the full 80DO workouts. So, instead I did the A Little Obsessed condensed workouts (30 min. each Total Body Core + Booty). Not one bit mad about it. Something is always better than NOTHING!
Anyone who knows me knows that every day is leg day😂 I hate doing upper body because I have ZERO upper body strength and feel stupid weak compared to my lower body. That being said, I've been working on it and am finally seeing some progress. Nothing crazy but still so motivating to see! #iamprogress
How does this busy mom of 3 find the time to workout??(my magic🦄 mom fuel always helps lol but see my tips below for more insight😉) ☝️First, I remind myself this is not a punishment but a gift to be able to move my body everyday because some aren't so fortunate! ✌second I do my best to incorporate fitness into my life by taking the time to schedule my workouts for the week instead of HOPING I find the time because that NEVER works out and you will just be discouraged and disappointed in yourself! 👌Third I don't take myself too seriously! I do my best to enjoy this lifestyle by getting my family involved whenever I can or pausing for dance breaks! (➡️swipe over to see an example of each!) I'm not perfect I have set backs, I miss workouts, I eat tacos and drink wine and get in a funk and everything else that normal people do because I'm human! But I know i'm in this for the long haul so I always pick myself back up and keep on trucking!

Some quick hotel/dumbbell only upper body workouts from last night 🤷🏽♀️ somethin is better than nothin .
These are definitely not my favorite workouts but it’s amazing what a quick 25 min can do for ya 🤗
On vacation I like to keep my workouts short and my heart rate high. This little combo did just that for me today 👊🏼
Here is what I did at the gym today from start to finish. It took me about 45 minutes and left me feeling ready to tackle the French toast waiting for me in the breakfast buffet 😋 🥞
▪️1 mile warm up run. Start at an easy pace and slowly increase it to get your body nice and warm 🏃♀️
▪️5X5 back squats. I slowly built to a heavy 5 reps
▪️ 30-20-10 dumbbell front squats, burpees, leg lifts. As fast as possible! I was actually surprised at how bad this hurt 👏🏼
For me, exercising on vacation always makes me feel better. If you’re not a believer try it just once and I think you might be hooked 😏

Believing in yourself is HARD. Those voices in your head that tell you you’re not good enough, pretty enough, fit enough, not the “kind of person” to become an influencer.. If there is one piece of advice I could give to someone who is struggling mentally or physically with their image, purpose, or self confidence it would definitely be to kick your fears to the curb 🤸🏼♀️ Take a chance and do something you’ve never done so you can get somewhere you’ve never been 💭

When you start adding in small drops of positivity to your life, it opens up the flood gates. Your mental state changes, your outlook on once negative situations alters, your energy levels sky rocket and you feel like you’ve found this secret key to life! .
Taking time for yourself each day, and really putting in the world to better yourself can cause such an effect it’s hard to explain. The endorphins that are created from your daily exercise change something in you, and then next thing you know you’re sprinkling that positivity all around you!🎉
I share my journey so I can help others. I sprinkle that positivity glitter around like it’s freaking dolla bills falling from the sky! This crazy thing called “Beachbody” changed my life 4 years ago, and I would be doing you all a disservice if I didn’t share how amazing it all was!🙌🏼

Move your body at least 30 minutes a day.

I wasn’t going to post this because Day 2 should have been done yesterday but....TACOS 😬🌮 My FAVORITE thing about @liift4
is that it’s only 4 DAYS a week...which means 3 recovery days or in my case...3 days of flexibility so that I DON’T miss any workouts!
This program has FOREVER changed my life.

And FINALLY I will COMPLETE an entire program...something that I have set as a goal on and off for 15 YEARS!
