happy tuesday! it's time for our #discussiontuesday
post! today i wanted to talk about judgement in the dog community. i get that people are really passionate about certain things (dog nutrition, dog showing/breeding. health and structure, certain breeds, etc) but what i don't get is when people feel the need to go out of their way to attack others just when they don't agree with their personal beliefs. i usually don't have strong opinions on things, even though i will admit i was more extreme in the past, but i've realized that, if it's not my dog, and that dog isn't being harmed or abused, then who am i to judge or argue with that person about what they believe? i've met some serious dog snobs in the past (no shade to anyone in particular just speaking about my experience) and at one point i just thought to myself, "huh, why are they so opinionated and extreme about something that isn't even really that important? why do they feel the need to judge others on when/if they choose to fix their dogs, how they choose to train them, or what they choose to feed them? i may feed lyanna a diy/raw diet for example, but do i judge people who feed their dogs kibble? heck no?! it just irritates me when others judge to another level, and honestly i think they may need to get a few better hobbies :) but what do you guys think? are you also annoyed by overly judgmental dog people? let me hear your stories!
