AVAILABLE DOG !
Bear is an 8 year old neutered male mini red tri Australian Shepherd. Sadly, some months ago, Bear’s beloved owner passed away. Bear was her constant companion and never left her side. Because she wasn’t well Bear became protective of her. Like most Aussies it takes Bear a little while to warm up to meeting new people and dogs. Bear rides well in the car, walks nicely on the leash (occasionally he becomes concerned about a passerby however, with moderate correction he reminds easily that they are none of his business), not destructive and rarely barks, loves to be brushed and is affectionate. He has come to be friends with stable, trained dogs while in the care of our trainer Farren Mahone. However, Bear is NOT a dog park dog. He will take great offense to rude dogs running up to him, as well as take offense if he thought said rude dog would try to come in-between you and he. He would prefer a life as a companion who receives a light evening/morning stroll through the neighborhood. He would easily live with a smaller low energy dog, or being an only dog would be okay with him also. Cats unknown, kids he’d prefer not. If you are interested in this cutie, please fill out our adoption application: https://www.aussierescuesocal.com/applications/adoption-application/ If we already have a recent one from you, please drop us an email: firstname.lastname@example.org
It turns out Miss Teddy is going to need some surgery on that ‘bum leg’ of hers 😐 Apparently when they repaired her leg, they used surgical wire to hold the bone together. Because she doesn’t use it much, she has lost the muscle tone in it and now that wire is working through her skin! Fortunately the surgeon that is doing Lyla’s surgery on Tuesday is willing to do Teddy’s the same day ❤️ #aussierescue #australianshepherd #aussiesofinstagram #rescuedog #aussierescuesocalaus
** COURTESY POST **
We rescued Bear from the Shelter a year ago, and we have known this sweet boy since he was a puppy. He was surrendered by one of our neighbors...so we decided we HAD to rescue him and become his Foster Parents until we could find the perfect “forever” home for him. We fell in love with Bear and decided to keep him. Unfortunately, my wife and I are getting a divorce and no one is at home during the day to keep bear company. I am out most of the day and feel bad that he is left alone and since we are going to sell our home, most of the places I am looking at do not allow for large dogs. Bear is about 60 pounds of love. He is a love! Bear is sweet, affectionate, fun loving, housebroken dog. He likes to play, have his tummy rubbed, take long walks, go for car rides, play with toys and most importantly be included with the family. He does not like people in uniform or delivery people as he tends to want to protect the family. Bear is great with children and can be a great guard dog and protective of family members, but he is loving with people and good with other dogs. He has even been amazing with our older dog who is 17. He likes to snuggle and put his head on your lap. Bear does quite well when left home alone during the day as he likes to relax but loves interaction too. He is intelligent, listens to commands, learns quickly, and responds well to positive voice affirmation. Bear is a neutered male, black tri Aussie, and would be a wonderful addition for any family who includes him in family activities, whether inside the house or outside. I believe he prefers the house mostly. Bear is a neutered 6 year old male and loves to have his walks 1-2 times a day. He would do well with a family who walks him and interacts with him on a daily basis. Bear will bring joy to any home. Bear is a fairly large Aussie (about 60 lbs). He loves his treats for being a good bear. You will fall in love with Bear too. If you are interested in sweet Bear, please contact Bruce @ 818-636-8600 or email: email@example.com

Check out this pair of cuties in need of a loving home. Swipe for details on Teddy and Bo💗💙 ** COURTESY POST ** Bo is a 4 yr old neutered blue merle male Aussie, Teddy is a 3 yr old spayed red tri female Aussie, they are looking for a new home where they can stay together if possible. It is a divorce situation, and their owner is moving out of state because of it. They currently live with 4 kids under 10 and are fine with them, Bo can be somewhat protective of his kids so be aware that is a natural personality trait of an Aussie. They have been fine with other dogs, no idea on cats, and not been on a leash much. They are housebroken but are primarily outdoors, Bo tends to get restless inside. They are reserved initially with strangers but warm up, very sweet, Teddy can be very snugly once she knows you. Teddy was attacked as a puppy by another dog and it messed up her back leg some, so sometimes she will 'pack it' - not use it - when walking around (does use it when running tho!). Bo just had surgery to be neutered, as well as his front front had been injured in the fence, but he is recovering fine. In their current home, both of them will go over a 4 foot chain link fence and dig under a 6 foot chain link fence, but do not get out of the yard that has a wood fence (about 5 foot high), so please be sure your yard is secure if you are interested in this pair. We would appreciate a donation to ARSC if you adopt them, to help cover Bo's surgery costs. If you are interested in this beautiful pair, please fill out our adopt app and we will forward it to their owner: https://www.aussierescuesocal.com/app…/adoption-application/ if you have any questions, you are welcome to email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org

Does he remind anyone else of Simba in The Lion King when they are singing Hakuna Mata in the jungle?
🐾Anyone else ever experienced people freaking out while you walk by them w your dog(s)??? I think it’s hilarious when I walk by people w my dogs on a leash and most of the time w the gentle leader, and then all of a sudden 100% grownup humans scream and launch themselves to the side with no regards to what’s on the other side of them: a child, cars, other people, a wheelchair🙈
I just wanna be like, ummm excuse me;
1. Do you think my dogs are hungry? 2. And if so, Why would they want to eat YOU?
Like really... what about YOU specifically is so irresistible that my dogs will just start to go zero to Dracula upon sight??? They’ve been around humans for at least a few blocks with no causalities... please explain your reaction🧠🤨
Waiting for me to come home.
