need a vacation from this vacation 🇦🇺
That one tree looking so lonely in all that land, yet makes a statement of being so strong being the only one still standing 👊🏽
Continuing the trend of rising early this year so on my morning off the gym decided go shoot sunrise at Fairy Bower Rockpool
💙🌍🌞🦋 Make this today’s little reminder; “To practice enjoying your own company; take every opportunity you get; have faith instead of giving up so easy; impress yourself instead of impressing others; lend a hand without expecting anything in return.” #sunset #sunshinecoast #summer #sun #australia
Eyebrow kicking the dust up ☀️ still in need of more rain 😪🤞
Happy 4 years to my partner in crime ❤️
There is no one else I would want to traverse this planet with. Anywhere feels like home when I’m with you
Thanks for bringing so much joy and laughter into my life
Here’s to 100 more hehe 🥰
Mom always told me I could be whoever I wanted to be. If I could go back 10 years ago, Id tell myself to not be afraid because He knows what’s the best for us. 10 years from now, I want to look back and be proud of my high and lows in life but always thankful to be where I will be. If He’s with me, nobody is against me. I trust Him, I believe in Him and He’ll take me where I wanna be in life. Romans 8:31 “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” ♥️🙌🏽
Day 5 of 7 Tasmania Photo Tours in May & Oct takes us to Bicheno. Famous for its blowhole and Ferry Penguins at night. Another attraction is the orange lichen on the massive boulders. A 6 or 10 stop filter during the day slows down the shutter and the heart beat. Its really relaxing to sit along the shore line looking for the perfect composition.
The Bolte Bridge: bold, bodacious and very striking.. taken on a particularly hot morning.
I'm actually an advocate for supplements. A lot of trainers suggest that they're "useless." However, a number of research studies have shown us that supplements can be effective at the right dose in the right context.
Further, once adherence, training, nutrition habits have all been well established, using certain compounds to enhance performance might be warranted.
However, when supplement companies preach genuinely false information that isn't backed by a large majority of the available science, it leaves a very sour taste in my mouth.
It is already very difficult for people to know what's true and what's not in the fitness world due to the plethora of misinformation that exists. Thus, supplement companies need to be held accountable for the message they convey to their audience and provide a form reference for their claims.
In general, intelligent supplementation can actually be beneficial. Good training supplements contain ingredients that will allow the lifter to:
✅ Produce a little bit more force.
✅ Get a few more reps out.
✅ Do one, or maybe two more sets.
✅ Decrease perceived exertion or how hard something feels.
✅ Increase "the pump" which may or may not benefit you depending on your training status and age.
Smart nutrition supplementation for fat loss will probably:
✅ Decrease someone's appetite.
✅ Sometimes improve perceived fullness.
Though, these marketed supplemented cocktails WILL NOT:
❌ Add kilos of muscle to your frame in [insert marketed time frame]
❌ Increase your fat burning potential by "targeting stored fat." The more outrageous the claim, the higher the likelihood that it's false. For more information on smart supplementation, DM the page or contact us at www.marmina.com.au or email@example.com

🌅The Other Side of Mount Wellington 🌅
Everyone tends to see Mount Wellington as the location that overlooks Hobart. However, on the other side is a beautiful view with wonderful rock formation and endless views of surrounding mountain ranges.

This was my last sailing adventure... when we left the marina it was raining, the clouds were dense and there was not a peep of blue to be seen. Everyone was under the canopy staying dry as we made our way under motor to our first anchorage. About an hour into the trip the rain stopped and, as always in the wet season, the darker-than-grey rain clouds slowly dissipated. Soon the afternoon sun was beating down on us as we enjoyed a few drinks under a blue sky, tucked up out of the wind in Stonehaven. Moral of this story? Embrace it, because it doesn’t last long and those cool rain showers are a blessing after a few hours in the midday sun! #wetseason #thetropics @whitsundayescape
Ps. The next day our sail home was absolute bliss, with calm seas, a light breeze and not a cloud on the horizon. Then as we pulled into the fuel dock at the marina rain clouds rolled in over the hill and droplets as thick as your thumb had us wet to the bone in a matter of minutes 💧⛵️😄
🌼🌞Sunflowers in bloom, it is absolutely breathtaking in person

I often thought the only reason you'd cross the Westgate Bridge was to dump a body, bloody hell was I wrong! #thatviewtho
Building someone else’s dream is easy. You put on your work clothes, show up at 8:30am, give 55% of yourself, work with people you don’t like, get paid what someone else thinks your worth and then wait for 5pm. You know there’s more to life.
Building your own dream is hard. You work in the pockets of your time meaning you stay up late and wake up early. You give 100% of yourself to your goal while people ridicule you. You have to find people who lift you up and believe in something bigger. You have meetings after the gym, smelling like a foot and shovel food in your face when you get 5 minutes. You have 100 conversations and hear “No” 90 times. You don’t make money for a long time and self doubt WILL creep in.
But you’re different. You understand that EVERYONE wants the end result but many crumble in the struggle. Most don’t love the process and resist growth.
You also understand that you must start where you stand.... Because failure hates persistence and with that knowledge you know you will eventually win.
Remember that when someone tells you that you can’t... It’s not YOU they’re talking to. It’s the many voices that they have heard in which THEY cannot do what you can. Nobody knows what you can do except you.
So, there’s an enterprising green tree frog living in the base of my self-watering pot. It’s midsummer and pretty hot here. Every time I water the lettuce, he lets out a startled/delighted croak. 🐸Sound up ⬆️🔈on the (amazingly steady 😂) video if you want to hear it for yourself. 😁 (panting noise is not frog but nearby dog who has just been playing Fetch 🎾😄)
The journey takes us far.... but there’s always lingering homesickness.
Always ⛅️ A view across towards Barangaroo with the current display sign reading always.
Summiting Sharlands Peak has been in the back of my mind since my first visit to Frenchmans Cap a few years ago. Its formidable towers loom high above the trail and inspire awe from all who pass below. When I finally made the ascent over Christmas it was much easier than we had anticipated but every bit as awesome and the weather conditions provided us with stellar views.
