I don’t know what the heck happened today. I woke up positive ready to tackle the day, by the time I finished work I was done.
Didn’t want to train and would rather have went straight home to sleep.
Isn’t it weird, funny, crazy, how the human mind works, how you wake up ready to go and by the end of the day you’re done, you’re energyless.
But I made a commitment to myself to go to CrossFit, suck it up and just carry on because there are people out there wishing they had the energy to do what I do, wishing they could physically do what I do. People are praying to be in my position. For them I train, for myself I train, for life I train 🏋🏻♀️ People can write a million quotes for you to follow, they can post a million inspiring messages on social media, but at the end of the day you have to ask yourself “HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT!?” I’m glad I went because after years of wishing and about 4 months into my CrossFit journey I finally did rope climbs. It’s an achievement for me because 1)I’m scared of heights and 2) I didn’t think I had the strength yet to do so.
You don’t know what you’re capable of unless you have faith in yourself and try!

Jan 26 is a pretty controversial day but for the time being we get a pretty nice little long weekend ... and what better way to celebrate being Australian than drinking a little local @brixdistillers
rum to commemorate the 'Rum Rebellion' of 1808.
On the evening of 26th of Jan 1808 after the government tried to stifle Australia's booming rum trade, the men of the New South Wales (rum) Corps marched from the parade ground on High Street, to Government House. They marched to the tune of 'British Grenadiers' and were followed by hundreds of spectators. They arrived at Government House, locating Governor Bligh, who, according to legend, was hiding under the bed. He was arrested and deposed and the Corps' commanding officer George Johnston took control of the Colony for the next two years.
