Idk about the second part, comment if you want it
-Mr Robinson, please,-your boss was standing in front of you. He was upset and tired,-You don't have to do this
-I do, Y/n. And I'm so sorry, but I do,-he just said that you won't work in his bar anymore. He didn't say the words "you're fired", but you knew what it meant,-I can't afford paying you anymore. I can't afford your equipment. Trust me, if I could do anything to keep you here, I would,-you've been working in that bar for almost 3 years. Of course it wasn't the job of your dream, but you felt in love with it. Since your childhood you loved singing and when your attempts to become rich and famous failed, Jacob Robinson hired you in his bar. Every night you would sing songs and men listened. Your parents didn't approve it, your friends kept telling you that you deserve better, but when you saw the look on the faces of people who came there sad and desperate and left with a hope, it made you feel like you're actually helping someone. Mr Robinson said that your songs made people forget about their problems. Maybe it was truth.
-I understand it.
-My bar is losing its soul today,-he hugged you,-Y/n, you're like a daughter to me, I hope you know it. I will write you a recommendation letter and maybe it will help to find a new job. Better one,-you nodded
-Thank you,-you looked around. It wasn't late so the bar was half empty. In about an hour it will be very crowded and your listeners will start asking for you,-Maybe I could stay for tonight? One last time?
-Sure, sweetheart. I really am sorry,-he smiled softly and left. You went up on the stage and prepared everything you needed. While waiting for people to come, you were thinking about the people you saw in that bar every day. Many of them showed up so often, you started to worry when they didn't. But there was a guy who came absolutely every day. Whenever he walked in the bar he would smile and nod to you, and you smiled at him back. You didn't know his name or anything about him and neither did he. He just truly loved the way you sang.
