Been 🆙 in the clouds lately.
Just got back from Germany. I was busy for work a lot and ended up staying in the cities of Munich and Berlin, but I was able to find some beautiful scenery in the English Gardens. I really had a blast and can’t wait to visit again!

Encounter Two. Now there are certain situations in life that you can never be sure exactly what you'll do until you're faced with them. Getting charged by a grizzly is one of those things. The human instinct to run from carnivores is very strong, and also very wrong. After the first encounter we met up with two more hikers and, against the protests of my friend, continued with the loop. We weren't more than 15 minutes along when the guy in the lead yells "cub." My heart dropped. Not because I was afraid of the cub, but because I knew what came next. We hear a loud crash and all pan our eyes to the left expectantly, as the big sow came charging through the trees and brush at an alarming pace. She was a streak of golden-brown amidst the green of flying branches and shrubs. And when I say crash, I mean the sound alone was enough to frighten you. Before I know it everyone is running, everyone but me. I reach for them and yell at them to stop, but at that point their flight instinct was too strong and they were already passed me. For the second time within an hour, and within a mile of the first encounter I was the closest one to a charging grizzly and this time I could feel the sow's emotion; a mother's rage. She was coming fast and now about 15 feet away. Not wanting to get singled out by the sow I took a few steps towards the others. I look back and again I tense up ready for the damage a grizzly inflicts on the person that gets left behind. She's not there. I don't know where she went, but I don't stop to look for her. We just keep on running.

These prayer flags are everywhere in Nepal. Prayer flags promote peace, compassion, strength, and wisdom. The flags do not carry prayers to gods, rather the Tibetans believe the prayers and mantras will be blown by the wind to spread peace and compassion.
The 5 colours represent the elements - space, wind, fire, water and earth. According to Tibetans, absolute health is achieved when these 5 pure elements act in harmony 🙏🏻
I miss having classes here 🌃

when I look into the eyes of an animal, I do not see an animal. I see a living being. I see a friend. I see a soul. 💛
