Vivre une semaine en ashram, même aux portes de Paris, c’est quelque chose que je souhaite à chacun. Cette retraite de yoga kriya a été généreuse au mois d’avril, et pourtant j’ai longtemps hésité à m’inscrire. Hâte de pouvoir faire le niveau 2 et valider ce stage. C’était un beau cadeau d’anniversaire 💜 . Quelle joie de revoir certains copains de la retraite, dont ma coloc avec qui nous avons peu dormi (bla-bla-bla jusque tard dans la nuit), que d’amour dans ce groupe, on a partagé des moments si forts, gravés dans ma mémoire. Une très jolie expérience de vie, gratitude immense 🕉 . Swami fait des méditations guidées une fois par mois le jeudi au Forum 104 à 18h30. Today's lunch..Turmeric spiced rice with Sauteed Cabbage, Tempeh and Mushrooms topped with a dollop of Kalamata Olive Hummus. Have you tried Tempeh? It is one of my favorite foods and a staple in our home. It is a fermented soy bean product and is much healthier for you than tofu. It's also very quick and easy to prepare and to digest. 😉 In Ayurveda there is a saying....you are not what you eat but rather what you digest. To maintain health you must maintain the strength of your Agni or digestive fire. Here are some hints to do that: 🌿 Eat your meals at the same time everyday. 🌿 Eat slowly and with attention to every bite. Chew your food well. Do not eat while reading or watching TV. 🌿 Stop eating at the first sign of fullness. Never fill your stomach all the way. 🌿 Do not snack between meals. This greatly weakens the digestive fire. 🌿 Do not combine fruit, especially melons, with other foods. Fruit digests much faster than other foods. Eat it alone or not at all. Yes that means yogurt too. I know, I know....😢 🌿 Do not eat cooked foods with raw foods. This is by no means a complete list, but it is a start. Your digestion is the key to good health! Избегайте конфликтов. Hoy cociné un Kitchari. Es una preparación típica de India a base de arroz basmati y lentejas rojas (son más chiquititas y más fáciles de digerir, recomendadas para los tres doshas o biotopos) también se puede usar porotos Mung. Le puse zapallo italiano, espinaca y pimentón, verduras más amargas, picantes y astringentes que disminuyen la acción de kapha en nuestro cuerpo, que se manifiesta principalmente en la primavera. Todas las toxinas acumuladas durante el invierno comienzan a salir de manera líquida, por eso las alergias. El kitchari es ideal para nivelarnos, para depurar el cuerpo cuando nos sentimos pesados o hemos comido muchas cosas. Los aliños también activan estas propiedades, Coriandro o cilantro, jengibre, pimienta negra y un poco de comino, cúrcuma, fenogreco, ajwain y sal de mar.
