It still feels so surreal that I graduated from Kent State University yesterday. I can’t believe it but I’m so happy! The literal blood, sweat, and tears I shed in the jewelry studio and all the hard work paid off. I’m so proud of myself!
I want to say a huge thank you to my wonderful loved ones that came out to watch me graduate; my wonderful parents, my sweet Opa, my amazing Aunt and Uncle, and my bestie @boomertheaussienewfie
and her husband, well he’s my bestie too now and we’re also basically family. I also wanted to say thank you to all the sweet, supportive messages I’ve received - my heart could burst from all the love I’ve received! Seriously, there were so many times I wanted to give up but I had so many wonderful people that kept encouraging me and here I am!
I’m so blessed to have such a wonderful support system. I’m also so, so thankful to God. Again, there were many times I didn’t think I would ever finish school and that I couldn’t get over my hurdles but I would take a moment to calm down, pray, and just remind myself to continue to put all my faith and trust in him. He’s given me so much love, direction, strength, and guidance. I couldn’t be more grateful! This degree is not just for me it’s for everyone who has shown me so much love and support.
The one thing I will miss about Kent State is the jewelry program; I will forever be grateful to the program for helping me discover my passion. I’ve met SO many wonderful, talented jewelry students and formed friendships with these people as well. From providing me direction with my project ideas to helping me solder to just helping me stay sane during late nights in the studio. I adore you guys and I’m gonna miss you! I’ll also miss Andrew, he was such a great professor and by far one of my favorites! 😩😭☺️ I’ll miss his classes, his sunny disposition, and his random stories. I’ll miss walking into that jewelry studio, now I have to put together my own hahahaha.
Anyways, I’m excited to see where this next chapter takes me in my life. 💙💛 Also, thanks again to @amariemetals
for the beautiful jewelry! I got so many compliments, especially the necklace. 💕
