Always remember that there are hundreds of thousands (exaggerating a bit) of reasons why we “BELIEVE” we can't....but are they justifiable?
Are we instantly thinking about what we are given up when attempting to embrace a new goal? Just to name a couple (word limitations, we know how that is🤷🏾♂️)... Credentials for a Career Change = Time sacrificed- Possible Professional development overhaul if this is a career shift- Possible Financial impact (Varies from person to person). Adopting a Healthier Lifestyle = Time sacrificed- A change in eating habits (this could mean giving up that “favorite” food or cutting back)- Assuming a more active and physical role....daily (This could mean waking up earlier?) What is on the other side of what's given up?
Constant reminders? Do we ever stop thinking about that darn goal if we're not willing to give up what's needed to achieve it?
Regret? Me personally, intend to think back and wish that I had given it a shot....that ole “shoulda, coulda, woulda...mindset). Honest question? How often do we regret the those things that were accomplished by given up something that held us back or sacrificing something (time) in the first place?
Only we can be the judge of that.
