Hip Release challenge Part 2 - (all exercises are in B&W on my page)
This is the second hip release. For the next two weeks, your challenge is to do it 4x daily.
AM & PM & before & after periods of activity/inactivity. You can even do it in bed! So no excuses!
1. Lie on your back place a pillow under head or sit in a chair.
2. Cross your right ankle over your left knee. Make sure ankle passes the knee.
3. Relax your hips lengthen spine.
4. Press your knee towards your hand @ 20% max effort (it’s not much!) hold it for 20secs and stop. Do it 4 x in total on each side.
• Relax your chest, shoulders and neck. If you feel tension here you are pressing to hard.
• Don’t try and open your knee you are pressing knee to hand.
• Keep you bottom on the floor of lying. Don’t try and flatten your lower back.
