🔸🔸 FIT FÜR'S PFERD 🔸🔸 Im ersten Schritt der Serie #fitfüreli möchte ich euch die Sportarten, die ich für mich ausgewählt habe, etwas näher vorstellen ✌️ 🔹 Teil 1: Yoga 🤸‍♀️ 🔹 #yoga ist ein meinen Augen ein hervorragender #sportfürreiter - fördert es doch die Ausgeglichenheit, Beweglichkeit und eine starke Körpermitte. ☺️ Ausgeglichenheit finde ich enorm wichtig, um dem Pferd mit Ruhe und innerer Stärke entgegen treten zu können. 🤸‍♀️ Beweglichkeit unterstützt den lockeren #reitersitz . Wie soll ich mit dem Pferd mitschwingen können, wenn ich im Körper, besonders in der Hüfte, völlig fest bin? Je lockerer, desto geschmeidiger der Sitz und desto weniger behindere ich das Pferd in seiner #losgelassenheit . Auch die #balance und damit wieder der Sitz werden verbessert. 💪 Eine starke Körpermitte, besonders also Bauch- und Rückenmuskukatur helfen, einen aufrechten Sitz zu fördern, um nicht in sich zusammen zu sacken oder ins Hohlkreuz zu fallen. Sitzt man wie ein nasser Sack 🚶‍♀️ auf dem Pferd, so werden Gewichts- und Kreuzhilfen nie so ankommen, wie sie könnten. 👉👉 Empfehlen kann ich euch #letsstartyoga und #abasanas . Hi! It’s me, your friend Amanda. Did you know that I have a mental illness? “But you seem so normal!” “How do you keep it so under control?” “You don’t seem sick.” “You excel in your career and have a wonderful life! What’s there to be sad about?” Just a few of the things I’ve heard since being diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. We are nearing the end of mental health awareness month and I want to share my story. For as long as I can remember, I have lived with anxiety. For me that has meant pressure from an unknown trigger, feelings of inadequacy and general dissatisfaction with no direct cause. Days where I want to be in my bed and not talk to anyone. Agitation. Frustration. Anger. Sadness. Ambivalence. A short temper with those I love. This other person living inside of me has a mind of her own and sometimes she can’t be tamed. She makes me want to stay in bed all day. She makes me play conversations over and over in my head to try and figure out what I could have said differently. She fills me with doubt. She makes me feel inadequate, trapped, paranoid. But she is not me. I manage my anxiety well for the most part- and I try my best to not let it rule my life. My anxiety is high functioning in that most days, it does not rule me. That negative voice does not stop me from honoring my responsibilities and my relationships. I can luckily manage with medication and mindfulness. They call mental illness an invisible disease and it is truly just that. I am a successful professional woman. A friend, a daughter, a sister, a roommate, a girlfriend. I am so much more than my anxiety but at the end of the day, she is with me and I must deal with her. If you are experiencing anxiety or living with another form of mental illness, I write this post so that you know you aren’t alone. This invisible disease comes in all shapes and sizes. Don’t ever let anyone tell you that it is not significant. Don’t ever let anyone tell you it’s something you should just “get over.” You are strong and you are smart and you are worthy- but you are flawed and it is okay. You can overcome your struggle and conquer your demons. We are in it together.

What a busy week I have been having. Have had a pretty excited and massively important meeting with a partner at one of Ipswich’s biggest and best #physio /osteos, #gilmourpiper . 🙏🏻 For those that don’t know I was a nurse for over 10 years (actually I still am a practicing nurse) working in both A&E and in the cardiology departments of ipswich hospital. These experiences were part of my reason to reason I moved In towards yoga. Working with patients who suffer from something like non specific low back pain and sprained ankles but don’t understand how their posture/alignment has caused those weak painful issues. As well as patients coming to hospital with high blood pressure and fast heart rates and boarder line type 2 diabetes all of whom aren’t really given much advice on changing their lives but just given medication to counter the issues. Now don’t get me wrong some of those meds are life saving and highly important to some, but changing ones life is far more important and when I realised how movement and the ability to relax could change and assist The body to be free from pain and to help bring these risk factors down I decided to go for it with the yoga. I have since also been working with some women with pelvic floor prolapse and incontinence issue who have basically been told do their kegals and where a pad and get on with it. This isn’t how it has to be people, again learn how and why your body has got to that stage and then you can bring it back and regain control. ☯️ So how’s the time, I am starting to aim myself a little away from just teaching group classes and going towards a more 1-1 (or potentially very small group) session based practiced where I can assist people regain some control and function of their bodies. Where people can begin to realise that all those years of pain and immobility are largely reservable. That #movementmatters . 🙏🏻 So please get in touch if you or a loved one or someone you know has been struggling and would be interested in coming to see me. More details of exact starting dates etc will follow in the next week or so once finalised. This is a very exciting time for me, Can’t wait to see some of you on the journey.

Umm some data floating on the internet 😐 if people think how someone looks represents the better half and you have control over this relationship emtionally... you are going to be mind blown when i tell you something. Heterosexual Women are more likely to sleep with someone more attractive when you are ovulating because you need to reproduce! No doubt you will choose the wrong man if not carful its a primal instinct you picked him to have sex with or let him have sex with as The Male is usually attracted to pheromones first to make sure good genes are passed on. Ovulation increases that scent in you making him really horny. Thats why women in their late 30s are so relaxed with sex and its known as the Dirty 30s because that would be the perfect age to have a child. Personally i can finally say i can have safe sex withought the worry of babies with my hormones at peek level and not on the pill. Yessssssssss. But since most Sexually active women are on birth control their most primative sense is masked by synthetic hormones and they have to guess endlessly why its not working out... when the other half shuts down because his hormones are natural and sex needs to be a urge for them to feel completely satisfied during sex which is brought on hormonally and so on... Most of us feel a little crazy from time to time. Periods of high stress can make us feel like we're losing it, as can being surrounded by people whose values are very different from our own. Losing a significant relationship and moving into a new life situation are other events that can cause us to feel off kilter. Circumstances like these recur in our lives, and they naturally affect our mental stability. The symptoms of our state of mind can range from having no recollection of putting our car keys where we eventually find them, to wondering if we're seeing things clearly when everyone around us seems to be in denial of what's going on right in front of their eyes. For most of us, the key to survival at times like these is to step back, take a deep breath, and regain our composure. Then we can decide what course of action to take.
