combine 1 heaping scoop of coffee @nuzest_usa
protein + 1 tbsp grass-fed beef gelatin (I used @sportsresearch
bc it was on sale at homegoods💁🏻♀️) + 2tbsp coconut flour in a bowl and stir until well mixed. •••
add in 1/2c @maranathanutbutters
maple almond butter + 1/2tsp baking powder + a splash of almond milk until it becomes a thick, dough like consistency (sorry I didn’t measure😬) •••
form dough into balls & top with dark chocolate chips. bake at 350F for ~10min so cookies are “set”. I cooled mine in the fridge for awhile & topped them with @steelcitysaltco

Recipe down below! This dinner was a yummy A+. I guess I’m becoming more of a flexitarian than vegetarian lately due to cooking for the family more. 😝 Boys had this with Mac N Cheese as well 😒. My fav part of this dish was the green cream spicy sauce!
Chicken breast was marinated in lime, minced garlic, onion powder, and garlic roasted chicken herb mix. It was cooked on low heat with olive oil to retain a soft and juicy result yet browned on the outside.
String beans came out so good! After rinsing, I like to cut both ends of each string bean. I then cook it on low with margarine, minced garlic, and pepper.
Finally, the green cream sauce. Wow! I boiled one Serrano pepper and about 4 green tomatillos, and one green bell pepper. I then blended that with about 6 tablespoons of nonfat Greek yogurt and added some salt. I can see myself using this sauce with everything!! -

My eggs literally take about 2 minutes to make.
Spray some olive oil in a bowl 🥣
Crack 2 eggs 🥚🥚
Sprinkle garlic powder
Rip up some power greens and mix in
Mix in mustard (idk if that's weird but it tastes amazing so you can thank me later😂)
Microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds and it comes out perfect 👍
I always have a side of 1 or 2 veggies with it 🍅🥦
I made a simple frittata tonight with Parmesan and fresh basil from the farmer’s market. Mmm... there is nothing like the flavor and aroma of fresh herbs! 🌿 😋 I added some tomatoes and giant green olives, then a side of cantaloupe. This was balanced, delicious, and light enough to be eaten at any meal!!

Yes, this programs allows “cheats.” BUT I had a few too many fries [potatoes are my weakness] and didn’t pick the healthiest dinner last night. Hence, the facepalm. 🤦🏼♀️
But it happens. And I’m posting this to be REAL. And because if you think you’re the only one who has to start over- wrong again. .
The difference? I know what my body needs, I’m learning to balance, I have my girls by my side and I am choosing grace. .
**Disclaimer: giving yourself grace doesn’t mean eating whatever you want every day & thinking it’s fine. It’s not. But it is okay to mess up.
Because today? I’ve been right back on my plan. See how I didn’t make it a habit? 🎉👏🏼

cauliflower gnocchi, but honestly I cannot get ENOUGH 😋😍 I never follow the instructions (shocker) and simply sautee it in a frying pan after letting it thaw for the evening, but this time I decided to cook it in some leftover bacon grease, thanks to @forks_farm

I LOVE fitness and exercise but I found that diet and nutrition plays the most significant role in maintaining a vibrant lifestyle! ✨ A well balanced diet of carbs, protein and fats tends to do the trick for me and is backed by years of research.
A macronutrient ratio for a well balance diet should be around: 30-50% carb, 25-35% protein, and 25-35% fats. Now, if your goal is to lose weight OR build muscle these would have to be adjusted.

Call me a millennial, I don’t currr! Avocado toast is my #1
choice. EVERY. TIME. 🥑 You can top it with ANYTHING! I think that’s what I love most 🤔. That as long as you have an avocado, you can search through your fridge for clever toppings, or produce you have to use before they go bad, and put together whatever concoction your heart desires👩🏻🍳. I’ve tried so many variations that I would never think to put together and ended up being delicious 😋. I’ll post some so you can get some ideas! Avocados are famously known to have ‘healthy fats’. But what does that even meeeaaan? 😩🤯. There are a couple of myths we should clear up. Fats are fats! They’re not! “I’m gonna gain weight.” You’re not! When it comes to nutrients, your intake is not the only thing that matters. Your body actually needs to absorb these nutrients, right? Many nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants are fat-soluble, meaning they won’t absorb unless you have a healthy fat to assist in the job. So next time your afraid of “overdoing” it on the avocado, just remember, that sucker is being put to work. He’s not just sitting around glued to your hip! 😂

These pictures are just a year apart and although they may look similar, these are 2 completely different girls, mentally and physically (like WHAT LOOK AT THOSE QUAD GAINZ)!!!!! The girl on the left: attempted following macros, attempted intuitively eating, attempted beachbody workouts/nutrition, attempted “clean eating”, attempted massively cutting to “look good” for vacation, attempted cardio on top of cardio on top of more cardio. She made any attempt to get skinny. She was never good enough and never happy with herself. The girl on the right, tracks macros (thx to the best coach @suegainz
), has found balance, is able to go on vacation without the amount of anxiety and used to get over it, doesn’t need a crash diet to get skinny, and lifts to be strong, not “toned” (lol). The girl on the right is finally confident in herself. She has her days of doubts, but she is finally happy with herself and damn proud, too.
I hope everyone at some point gets to be like the girl on the right because it’s pretty freaking awesome.

Quite possibly the best recipe I’ve conjured up
In large pot, sauté then simmer the following (coarsely chopped): 3 tbs olive oil, 1 onion, 3 garlic cloves, 2 sweet potatoes, 2 zucchini, 1 variety package of mushrooms, 2 large tomatoes, 5 celery stalks, 1 package of tri color lentils, a large handful of spinach. Add 1 and a half boxes of low sodium vegetable broth, 1 tbs turmeric, 1 tbs smoked paprika, 3 bay leaves, 3 tbs Italian herbs, garlic powder, Himalayan sea salt, white pepper, black pepper, and hot red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil and simmer for a few hours on low heat. Emulsify to make a thicker and creamier base.
