Dear students, we are happy to introduce you our new teacher Fernando.
👉Fernando is a dynamic black belt Jiu-Jitsu fighter, teaching Ashtanga yoga with a warm heart and compassion. He is teaching daily, practicing Ashtanga, training jiu-jitsu and surfing.
🙏His yoga journey began while trying to recover his broken body after a very serious paragliding accident, initially with the goal of being able to practice JiuJitsu again. Fernando decided to go to India in 2005 and is one of the very few who went to Mysore without any previous ashtanga yoga experience. He was thinking of staying two months but ended up staying for two years, practicing with Sharath Jois. He has been going back yearly ever since.
🙏The yoga practice became a part of his life and has been key in helping him recover and regain control over his body. In 2010 he was authorized to teach the Ashtanga yoga system.

Why/how you started crossfit: S2S was in our neighbourhood and even though it looked intimidating I figured it would be a good way to get in shape.
Why you train at S2S: Shortly after I joined, I convinced my wife (Lara) to join and she absolutely loved it, so now we keep on pushing each other to go. And S2S is simply where it started, it's small and hot but we wouldn't want it any other way, the trainers and staff are simply wonderful!
