Aling Aling Waterfall is located in Sambangan Village, which is a pioneer of environment protection and has the motto of “Reduce, Reuse and Recycle”, in the Sukasada sub-district, Buleleng Regency. The Trip to Aling Aling Waterfall takes about 3 – 3 ½ hours (by car) from Denpasar or 20 minutes from the famous Lovina Beach by motor bike.
The Sambangan area is very unique as it offers the opportunity to see 7 waterfalls within a short distance of each other. If you are a waterfall lover, highly recommend that you stay overnight at Singaraja or Lovina and hire a local scout to see the following waterfalls in addition to the Aling Aling waterfall: 1. Pucuk Waterfall (16 meters) 2. Kembar Waterfall (12 meters) 3. Kroya Waterfall 4. Canging Waterfall 5. Dedari Waterfall 6. Cemara Waterfall.
The Aling Aling waterfall is approximately 35 meters in height and it’s the highest of the 7 waterfalls you can visit in this area. Aling Aling’s pool water is as clear as crystal, refreshing and offers a great opportunity to cool down a little during those sticky days, as it has the most waterfall pools around.
The fresh crystal clear water from the mountains and the surrounding green sceneries will make you feel close to nature. This place is the most entertaining waterfall in all of Bali, not only because of the natural pools, but you can also go sliding and jumping in the waterfall itself. It’s fun, challenging, and refreshing!
