It's been a week since I've posted I guess. So now I'm back with a lot of pictures and imma spam like there's no tomorrow.
So, my cousin shahzeb got married this week. The functions started with a dholki at my place(this is a picture from dholki). It was one fun filled and tensed day since we were the hosts and we had to plan everything. I decided to wear a long white gown, my mother got it stitched for me and I loved it! I wanted to get a bun made with red flowers but had zero time to do so. I even missed my appointment for the jura at @pampering_hands_official
They're the sweetest though.
The sitting area, the flower arrangements, food, music everything. We had arranged everything, the backdrop was sett and then it hit me, that dholki hai yaar kuch funky kertay hain!! I decided to get props printed with funny dialogues from movies and paste them on the grass backdrop and so we did. It took me an hour to choose the props crops them and put them in a seperate file. The printing of them though was the hardest part.
I had only one hour to get ready and get those props printed before the guests started coming in and oh boy! It felt as if I was the flash from the series 😂
Kher I got them printed and finally pasted them in time. The backdrop was simple and looked amazing and it was exactly what we wanted. Everybody loved it!
The yellow colored chaddars that were sent by the caterers were a total mess. Half of them were dirty and we had no idea how we'd get more in time. Everything was messed up but still everybody left with smiles. The day ended with a lot of funky dances, dholki songs and laughter!
Have you had any last minute prep emergencies for such events at your place?
