I remember snapping this photo during the summer and laying on the floor and feeling a giant basketball in my belly. I knew my hysterectomy surgery was coming up and couldn’t believe how I had adapted to having these massive fibroids inside me. What I endured was a lot! Our bodies are strong and they adapt to anything if you do it long enough. Now, I am 9 day post #hysterectomy
surgery and already feel so much less pressure! I have some pain but it will pass. I can’t wait to get back to my workouts. The same workouts, which allowed me to become more confident, focused, have incredible energy and lose 26 pounds and 22 inches! Yup... I still haven’t revealed the before and after; but they are proof of consistency! My journey isn’t over and where I am going is even more exciting. Beast up legs and wall sit with curls (the time on the clock in video has been wrong for over a year🤣)
Demolished my legs today, went up in weight today except for those dang 7 and 7 split squats used 15 lb dumbells but didnt stop one time so that's a win! Used 20's for Bulgarian squats and 25 lbs for single leg dead lifts. Wall sit with curls was able to use 20's but only got 10 curls......next time I'll do it before beast up legs 🙄😜. Noticed my hammy gains today, always helps give me the extra push when I visually see changes. It's so cool to know I'm sculpting my own body....no magic pills, or crash diets. Hardwork and good food are the only way to get results!

PERCEPTIONS, PROPORTIONS & THE LACK OF TAN:😃 If I could pass on anything to anyone on a fitness journey, it's that you don't have to keep taking things away from your life to Ironically be "less" so we stop feeling less than.
For my own sanity & health I couldn't have or didn't want to
*Eat less calories (which at this point to stay that lean I'd have had to) *I didnt want to lose more time by doing more in the gym. *I didnt want to lose more strength & muscle. *I didn't wana lose focus on other areas of my life
Just so there could be less of me.🤔
What if you started adding things IN to your life rather than taking them away. *Add more calories so you have energy to do more? *Add more weight to the bar so u build more muscle. *Add more structure to your program so u actually spend less time in the gym. *Add more focus to other things in your life cos u are spending less time in the gym.
*Add more carbs cos u use them efficiently in the gym. *Add more glute training & shoulder width so your waist looks the same (roughly) as when it was smaller (which was hard to sustain for more than a day)
*Add more water, more steps, more general activity. *Add more fun & love. *Add more fat so your horemones do the job & u have a period.
There is so much u can ADD to this lifestyle to make it work for u, & enable progress. People say "ah well ur a trainer, it's ur life u spend all is time in gym & being strict. He'll no H20!

Really felt like I needed to move my body today so I did PiYo again, Define: Lower Body and really really enjoyed it! I’d really like to love yoga, but it’s something I struggle with, so the fact that PiYo is a little more dynamic really suits me! I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to try this programme! 🧘🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️✌🏼
When I started my health and fitness journey, I took these photos, NEVER intending for anyone to EVER see them...but I wanted to share them to show how much I’ve transformed. .
After I had my daughter I was super heavy. Rightfully so, I’m only 4’10 and I had gained 50+lbs. during my pregnancy. It came off for the most part pretty quickly but I wasn’t by any means healthy. I wasn’t eating right and I never exercised. As a new Mom, I was not sleeping at all and I felt the worst I ever had in my entire life. The worse I felt, the more junk I ate. It started to get out of control until finally on New Year’s Eve of last year I decided I needed to do something.
Fast forward to today, I look back and see just how far I’ve come. 4 rounds of 21Day Fix, 1 round of 80Day Obsession and now I’m on Week 5 of Liift4! Holy shit! It’s been 9 months now! I’ve never finished anything in my life, let alone repeated or stayed consistently doing something to better myself! .

Back in the day, I’d spend crazy money on gym memberships and personal training sessions to leave the gym (the times I did go) and go home and eat all of the wrong foods. Sure I’d have girlfriends that I’d meet at the gym but I didn’t have anyone to hold me accountable. Now not only do I have a coach, but I have an entire online group of other women that are on the same journey to share the everyday struggles, tips and to motivate each other. Without Beachbody, I would have probably just given up after a week and went back to being unhealthy and feeling miserable. I’m so thankful that I made that decision and I stepped out of my comfort zone and did this. #lifechanging

Who says when you go out to eat you can’t make healthy choices? Today my boyfriend and I went to our favorite spot in CT and I got this delicious salad and only ate 1/4 of the goat cheese and took off all the croutons so overall it was pretty healthy!

I realized I forgot to post all the meals that have been prepped for this week. Missing: bunny-banana pancakes, turkey balls w/ zoodles, yogurt, and snacks. Snacks this week include: hard-boiled eggs, celery and carrot sticks with hummus, and cheese sticks. Pictures show: egg scramble, pre-made (just add water and ice) triple boost Greenberry shake, fixing for overnight carrot cake oats (just add almond milk and soak overnight), overloaded sweet potato, and of course, the spaghetti squash lasagna. Change in plans tonight, we’re going to have chicken with some cauliflower rice. So excited that this week has been a success so far! What meals have you prepped? I’d love to hear!
