I love seeing things through her eyes. I love hearing her stories and ideas. I love listening to her laugh as she tells a joke. I love being her shoulder to cry on when she has a tough day. I love helping her walk through life and teaching her what it means to be a lady and a strong woman. She is a dream come true. I loved every moment we were able to spend together on the Disney Cruise recently. It was simply magical.
I don’t know what I thought being a stay at home mom would be like but it wasn’t this. For someone who has always worked outside of the home, I always wondered what filled their days, it had to be better/easier than corporate life. •
Now that I’ve found myself in a position to stay home with my kids, I GET IT. It gets lonely and sometimes feels isolating. Some things are easier, but many things are harder. There is no back up if I have an appointment, there are no sick days, there is barely alone time.
I say this with ♥️ and 😆. Moms are AMAZING BAD ASSES no matter where/how/when you work, moms get shit done every day. But I need something for me. Not for the kids, not for my husband. I need this 20 minutes to focus on getting stronger💪🏼. I need 20 minutes to get my mind right🧘🏻♀️ I’ve got 20 minutes to workout any frustrations. And I LOVE connecting with other hard-working mommas who are wanting the same things. •
Running downstairs to workout between naps and school pickup is so SIMPLE (just open an app), CONVENIENT (I don’t have to waste time driving to the gym) and EFFECTIVE (this program is designed for the busy mom to get the best results in less time.) And oh yeah, I hate meal planning 🤦🏻♀️ but they do that for me too (Wha wa what?!) GAME CHANGER. •
You don’t have to go it alone. You don’t have to just accept the “mom pooch” or “muffin top” because you had a baby. You are worth the investment in your mental & physical well-being.
