November is the start of rainy season in Bali, yet many of the days it rained overnight and it was beautiful and sunny the next day. Living in sunny Southern California is actually perfect for someone who gets weather affected, but when I’m at ease and with people who make me happy, the sound of the pouring rain and the fresh smell it leaves behind is one of the best feelings in the world. So today I’m grateful for the rain, for nature, the changing seasons, and the moments of savage beauty they bestow on us.
