It hasn’t been easy over the past 18 months! I decided it was time to make some changes, and booked my flights to Australia!
If someone told me a year ago I was going to fly all this way on my own, I would have told them they were stupid!
I can honestly say my trip has been the best thing I’ve done in a really long time! Working on yourself is one of the hardest things you can do!
But now I’m going to keep moving forward... good things are coming down the road ❤️

i’m about to be posting an excessive amount of buildings bc they are just so beautiful. as tricky as it is to wear, yellow is by far my favorite color. it makes me so happy, it’s a lil sunshine on a cloudy day & it reminds me of my house at home🌞
i decided to keep a happiness journal while i’m here since it’s one of the happiest countries in the world & my core course is positive psychology. i use the grid diary app (10/10 recommend) every night to reflect on my day with 9 different blocks (see pic), but i wanted to try keeping a physical travel journal for my time here as well. to do something a little different from my typical reflection, i decided the format is going to be centered around my observations on “the happiness culture” as well as “my happiest moment” & a quick recap of each day.
