I will be the first to admit I suck at stretching 😲🤷. I get bored, I rush through my day, I have other things to do, I really just tell myself it's not that important...oh but it so is !!! I'm a #workinprogress
and slowly forming habits. Saturday is now my #saturdaystretchsesh
and so far I've been pretty faithful. I've Incorporated more workout videos since November which often have stretching in them and I've forced myself to not skip it ( that's a struggle I tell ya 😲 ) but Saturday I stretch....20 minutes or more of some deep stretch yoga and I can sure tell the difference. #takecareofyourself
Our lifestyles have changed dramatically in terms of the radiation and pollution we are exposed to. There are various factors such as those noted that may impact our vitamin D levels. There is some discussion in the natural health world about how much more liberal and widespread use of sunscreen is impacting natural vitamin d absorption. Am I suggesting we forego sunscreen, not at all. What I am suggesting is that due to the factors noted, we may need to be more aware of supplementing in order to compensate for lack of natural absorption from the sun. I use sunscreen daily on my face and have for years. Wrinkles scare me more than a zombie apocalypse😂. I have been slathering it on my hands lately too, so I will be more mindful of taking my vitamin d.

Here’s a little “hit your goals” hack: Find out what’s preventing you from hitting your goal.
Most people who message me tell me how long they’ve been working on their goals.
Usually, it’s YEARS of mental, emotional, and physical work... with little to no results!
I dunno, y’all, I might be wrong... but I’m pretty sure that’s the literal definition of insanity.
But you’re not insane (at least, not in a bad way 😈)... you just have a goal you need to hit and you’re tired of trying and failing.
So what do you do?
Well, my hamster babies, it’s time to get off the wheel.
It’s not the work you’re putting into your journey that isn’t working... it’s the mindset that you’d rather be somewhere else doing something else.
You can try a million different types of diets or workouts, but if you don’t discover what’s stopping you from being consistent, you’ll yo-yo with your plan for the rest of time... and wouldn’t that be annoying AF?
If you hate dieting or exercising and don’t want to do it (even though you “know you need to”), you’re setting yourself up for failure.
Instead, notice what’s pulling you AWAY from the things that will take you to your goal.
Ask yourself today - what’s stopping me from hitting my goal?
Then, ask yourself, is it worth it? ✨

To be a “free spirit” is so much more than doing yoga, or going to a music festival, traveling, or living a carefree life. Being a free spirit means that you have autonomous consciousness; complete sovereignty from external sources that would otherwise lay claim to your spiritual source of power and you are able to stand on all legs of your being in pure awareness. This means that you have dropped the stories, the lies we all tell ourselves, our addictions, the masks we wear... forcing all of our shadows to the surface for transfiguration. Being a free spirit means you are a free agent; fully able to merge with nature and the cyclical rhythms therein because you have done the work to integrate yourself deeply into the experience of being fully alive on our Earth right now as a pure, loving, ecstatic being. You are capable of the most vast transformations and alchemical emergence into form. You are capable of true greatness, freedom and a pure loving life. Look within, take stock and reclaim what is already yours. 💗

Before we started our home ed journey last spring I found as a family we were constantly rushing! We would spend the weekdays rushing to get ready for school each morning and then at home time for after school clubs or play dates, we’d be rushing to get homeWork and reading done, rushing dinner and baths to make sure they were tucked up in bed for 7pm ready for another early morning rush tomorrow. The weekends would then also be filled with rush, rushing to squeeze as much in as possible because the week had been dictated mostly by school life. I spent the majority of out time together short fused, repeating ‘hurry up’ over and over. I felt their childhood was rushing away with us and I was just spectating our lives from the sidelines!! The difference in our family life now is amazing ❤️ we now actually stop and really listen to the words our children are saying to us, Their bedtimes are now more structured around their natural body clocks and we all spend so much more time appreciating the smaller things. Life seems to rush by at an ever growing pace. We try to multitask to save time and cram more in. We talk on hands free when driving, our phones are ever present in case we receive a notification or a message, we clean our teeth while checking our emails and let's be honest we are very rarely "all there". We need to stop.....stop and focus.....stop and engage.....stop and listen. Set yourself a goal this week. Just once a day, every day, make a point of stopping. Be present where you are, be in the moment .....be all there. Will you do it? ❤️
You are not going to master the rest of your life in one day. Hold on to your optimistic attitude and keep putting in the effort to accomplish your goals. Great things take time and consistency! Stay focused. #WordsToFocus
