At some point in life, the world’s beauty becomes enough.
I just want to remember every tiny detail of him. He’s growing every time I close my eyes.
Picking up my camera after a few months never felt better! And all the shivers were so worth it today with M & J ❄️#happyplanning
Here’s a sappy post for your Saturday morning.
Being the daughter of a teen mom, my grandparents helped raised me. So much of my childhood was spent with them, teaching me to read, building whatever I imagined, endless hours in pretend-land. Forming a bond, impossible to put into words. Their passing was hard, but more than mourning for them, I mourned for all who would never know them. Especially my children, who didn’t even exist yet. .
Boy, was I wrong. This girl was blessed with an amazing great aunt and uncle, who adore her to the moon. Who spend hours growing her imagination, and playing their roles in whatever pretend play she has schemed up. How amazing it is to have these two in our village.
Happy Friday everyone! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted. I took the holidays off to spend with family and friends and then ended up getting sick after the holidays. It’s been a crazy couple of weeks but I’m trying to get back into the swing of things! Still feeling a bit sick but I’m ready to tackle 2019!
So, one of my HUGE resolutions for 2019 is to explore pullbacks. I am an avid up close and personal⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Shooter. I love the detail BUT I have been DREAMING of amazing pullback far away shots. But shots that stand out and are jaw dropping nonetheless. So, help me succeed. What is one of your tips or tricks to NAILING an awesome wide shot?
This is my Ava's sweet friend, Scarlett. She is undergoing surgery today on her beautiful little toes. Please lift her up in prayer that her pain is managed and that her fears are eased. Also pray for her family, especially her Mom and Dad, who I'm sure are feeling some anxiety today!
“Sir Miles, be a doll and pass me the crumpets will you?”
Mosaic walls make for such beautiful eccentric backdrops. 💎
Sunrise sessions on a brisk Sunday morning ☀️
Loved taking advantage of the vibrant color walls in downtown @collingswoodnj
for this maternity session.
When my children remember their childhood I just want them to remember that I gave it my all. 🖤
There’s no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of children. There are seven million.
Blubbed my way through Watership Down this Christmas, it was so powerful and wonderful. I do not like hatred and wish for more peace in our world for 2019. 💙
Let’s play a new game. It’s called shop small Saturday. I’ll tell you ALL about my favorite places to grab the perfect pieces, and you get to go show them love! I like to think that I shop small at least half of the time. I like the idea that these ridiculously talented people who hustle like nobody’s business will get even the a smidge of recognition. So @shopanniecasale
you two ridiculously talented shops are first up on the list. Annie makes absolutely incredible timeless couture pieces and I would be lying if I said each of you would be fine without one of her pieces in your littles closet. Girlfriend HUSTLES. Oh hey @sewtrendyaccessories
y’all know I love me some STA. They are a hard hard working team of incredibly talented babes behind the scenes. I like to think of their workshop as Cinderella’s woodland friends. Haha!!! Whether you’re pregnant OR NOT, need a flower crown or some jewelry, or just want to grab a gorgeous dress for your babes, the whole team is incredible and small. So now that I shared two of MY absolutely favorite shops, tag YOURS. Maybe leave a compliment for them to find too. 😘😘 Also I want to drop a line and say ONE spot is left for the maternity shootout in February! ONE!
Absolutely love this type of photography & would love to do more of it!
A few of my favourite images I took of myself today.
I am so ridiculously thankful for these humans in this picture. While they straight up drive me bananas. Creepily stand over me while I sleep. Hand me their chewed gum when I least expect it, and ask me questions that make me wonder if I should even be called an adult because I can’t answer. They are mine. I get to watch them go from cooing to babbling, from planking to running. One of my resolutions this year involves them. I promised both of them that we would go on dates together alone. We would have weekly sit downs where we get to talk about everything under the sun with no distractions. We would read 15 books a month together before bed. Y’all. Having kids is the best most draining job I have ever had. High five to all you fellow mommas out there killing the mom game. I see you.
