Extreme winds, -11°f, and I was in heaven! Yesterday I finally got to spend some time with a pair of North American River Otters. They took a couple hours to find, snowshoeing through deep snow while scanning the river. It was extremely windy and hard to see at times. The majority of my time with them was spent trying to catch my breath as I struggled to keep up and hoping the wind would stop just long enough to get a picture unobscured by the ice and snow flying all around. I finally got a couple pictures, but mostly just soaked in the moment watching these beautiful animals in such a pretty setting.
A beautiful male peacock proudly displaying his colorful feathers! Keep swiping if you want to get a good look at his bum 😂 I don't know why but I find peacock behinds to be really funny.. 📷: @hues_of_creation
