What can I say... today’s routine gave me all kinds of feelings. hated it loved it couldn’t keep up yet pushed harder 💯 It was tough but IAM tougher. It was demanding but I showed up and didn’t back down. It was a point of growth both mentally and physically to get through the short 20 minutes. But through it all the group of bad asses pushed right along with me ! My transformers weren’t at their highest number today but it’s ok cuz I kept going. My nutrition has been on track and the head pain has let up a bit. I got to this point because around 6 years ago I caught a nasty stomach bug in Morocco that turned my life and diet on its head. I went from someone with an iron stomach who could eat anything, to someone who couldn’t digest a thing. I lost weight (not in a healthy way) and was absorbing no nutrients from my foods.

¡El ombligo de la semana! Dinos ¿con quién compartirías esto? #Chitos
Este pudín de chia les encantará. Lo recomiendo para la mañana o media mañana y es fácil de preparar.
Ingredientes: - 1/4 de taza de semillas de chia
- 1 taza de leche de almendras
- 1 cucharadita de turmeric en polvo (es desinflamatorio y tienen muchas propiedades anticancerígenas, alivia problemas digestivos, ayuda al sistema inmunitario y protege el corazón)
- 1 cucharadita de vainilla - Frutas a tu gusto. Aquí usaremos banana, blueberries y fresas.
- Avena en hojuelas - Mantequilla de maní (un toque nada más)
- Yogurt griego (sólo una cucharadita al final)
1. En un vaso de boca ancha coloca la chia, leche de almendras, vainilla y turmeric juntos, mezcla bien con una cuchara y evita que queden grumos. Conserva en la nevera al menos por 20 minutos.
2. Aparte, pica las frutas para tenerlas listas para cuando esté bien espesa la chia.
3. Aparte, en un sartén, coloca un poco de spray anti adherente y pon las hojuelas de avena. Solo vamos a tostarlas un poco para que les de ese crunchi delicioso al pudín. Reserva.
4. Cuando esté lista la chia, en un vaso aparte coloca una capa de
frutas. Yo usé banana, blueberries y luego chia, otra capa de
fresas, blueberries y otra de chia. No llegues hasta el tope.
5. Si deseas, en el tope agrega unas cucharadas de yogurt griego y ponle la hojuelas de avena, decora con canela o un toque de turmeric y algunas fruticas para hacerlo más llamativo.

It’s not about depriving yourself! You should be able to satisfy your cravings! It’s okay to eat desserts and “junk” food... but my tip of the day is to atleast KNOW what you are eating!
It’s all about choosing the BEST option! There’s many desserts out there that are better for you! Same with chips, chose chips that are baked and low sodium!
Just know what the ingredients are in your foods and balance accordingly and you will be healthy! .

So this morning 🌼I woke up extremely amazing. My babies were in the bed with me, we were snuggling, and it was just a perfect morning until I made a conscious decision to consume not so great food. 😫😫 But I’m turning this day around !!! No time for pity 🎉 Party. Kids are doing some yoga now. Followed by my workouts. Then a long walks with the kids to the park. Nap then I’m going to photography the kids with my new pink backdrop paper. And lastly my doctors appointment to get my blood work results back that I took two weeks ago. .
Point is I chose to eat what I did and now I’m choosing to make a better. One day at a time right!
Dessert first!!! Excellent dinner for my sister’s birthday celebration. Right now I’m sitting on a jury for the week. It’s very interesting how our judicial system works. I’m not drinking this year and it feels weird in a way getting done each day and typically I would be ready to go have a drink to unwind.
