On Monday I found silence and a calm space for myself. That won't just improve my health - it'll help me do the best work I can.
One study found that listening to silence for two hours every day prompted the subjects' brains to grow new cells in the hippocampus, which is related to our brain's memory abilities. While new cell growth doesn't always provide health benefits, in this case those new cells did become new, functioning neurons within the mice brains. In other words, silence could make you a little smarter.

People sometimes ask me why I don’t have power meter and how I’m training without it. I have two answers to that: First, my “bike power meter” is in my head. Second, I do enjoy my rides!!!
If someone doesn’t have that mental mind set to achieve goals, then there is no such a technology that can do that. Plus the power of enjoyment is really big factor for any type of activities and work! So make sure to enjoy all you’re doing, put a smile on your face and you will feel/ see the results. ————————————————————

One more sunset and 2018 will be over. I’ve been thinking a lots what to say about this year. Maybe I will be simple. 2018 it was a big year in my life. With so much self focused, dedication and realization of simple things in life. Thanks to the cycling community - I made so many new friends and friendships that will last forever. I had a great 2018 and there is no a second Of regret. For the next few days I will post some of my best moments of 2018 accompany with context. Friday after 30 minutes workout I did foam rolling. Foam rolling is a type of soft tissue therapy that focuses on the nerves and connective tissues. In order for us to understand the magical effects of foam rolling, we will need a basic understanding of kinetic chain. Our body is a kinetic chain, which works as an integral functional unit. It exists interdependently. If one joint is not working efficiently, then the other joint will compensate, which will lead to muscle imbalances, tissue overload, fatigue, and injuries. Let’s say that we want to perform squat, but our hamstrings are tight which restricts the range of motion. Because of the muscle restrictions, joint motion is compensated, thus sending wrong signals to our Central Nervous System (CNS), which might lead to imbalances, injuries and the like.
Here are some benefits of Self Myofascial Release:
1. Corrects muscle imbalances.
2. Improves joint range of motion.
3. Relieves muscle soreness and joint stress.
4. Improves neuromuscular efficiency.
5. Relaxes our Muscles.
6. Provides optimal length-tension relationships.

I personally ride only when it’s dry on the road (due to the fact that I live in the city that rains a lots). Beside this I will be skiing, hiking, maybe snowshoeing again. And indoor training too. But I like the most is be outside in the nature, no matter of the activity that I’ll do! ————————————————————

Some how I end up at the gym tonight to celebrate my last working day of the year! Throughout the year, I've been pretty good about keeping up my exercise routine of cycling, and other outdoor activities. But now that winter's here in full force, I'm really struggling to get outside. ————————————————————

No excuse on a rainy day. My bike is always ready for me at home. Even on the grey, overcast days like today where many people want to stay inside and binge–watch their favorite TV show, I have no excuse not to hop on that bike and reach the best shape and mind of my life.
