(Post 1 of 2)... Here’s my 11 week #transformation
... It has been a great journey and I have enjoyed every single day of it. Yes it wasn’t easy but when you are committed to achieve your #goals
and through mental and physical #dedication
, waking up at 4:30 in the morning becomes an enjoyable routine.
My transformation started on 18/09/18, I had just moved to Australia from #London
, yet, #amazing #memories
behind. I had started a new job, I had #family
problems, I also had some health issues that I was battling but I managed to work through it all and get to where I want to be.
: I worked out 6 days a week, twice a day in the first 4 weeks, I lift weights and incorporated 2-3 #HIIT
workouts into my weekly routine.
: I cooked all my meals, #breakfast
, Lunch and #dinner
; I spent more time in the kitchen than in the gym. I’ve enjoyed cooking great dishes that I never thought I could do; this is coming from someone who didn’t know how to fry an egg and refused to step in the kitchen. I brought my lunch to work with me everyday and even when on clients visits, I kept track of all that I was eating, my macros were tracked down to the gram!
I eliminated #carbs
from my diet, I drank 5-6L of water a day, no #alcohol
and only ate out twice during that period!
The first week was hell, it was exhausting and I nearly gave up, but I always reminded myself of the image that I had drawn in my head about how I want to look like and the person I want to be.
Seeing LITTLE changes in the first couple of weeks gave me motivation and I pushed myself even harder, by that time, my body had adjusted to my new #lifestyle
I fell in #love
with cooking, I fell in I love with working out and mostly, I fell in love with myself, I started doing things that I always wanted to do but “never found the time” to do. I started taking #piano
; that’s another story.
Although, I’m miles away from my #friends
, I’ve found that I have become a lot closer to them than when I used to see them everyday!
