🖤 Ok, let’s talk monochrome ➰ It’s been a huge kids’ trend for a few years now and it isn’t showing any signs of going anywhere ➰ We still love a bit of monochrome and I think it’s absolutely perfect for a baby’s nursery as well as an older kids room. Here’s why:
▪️ it’s gender neutral, which means you can plan the room even before you find out the sex of your baby ▫️ Newborns can only focus about eight to 12 inches from their face, and they see only black, white and grey - which is why two of our fav brands @weegallery
were founded ➰
▪️It’s so easy to adapt as they grow - a change in a couple of accessories can really change a room up without needing spend ££ on decorating ▫️It’s great to see baby’s rooms move away from the traditional pink for girls, blue for boys which is so twee... monochrome is bright and modern (fun fact: did you know that pink was originally intended as a ‘boys’ colour?!) 🖤
▪️Add texture (think linens, wood, weaves) for some depth and you can add accent colours if you want once baby arrives .
I’ve tagged some of our fav monochrome products above (as many as Insta will let me) that are perfect for a nursery or even a newborn / baby shower gift 🖤 The rest of the collection is on the site ➰
