When we think about counting calories, or tracking nutrition, we think about the food we eat, and perhaps the alcohol we consume.
But are you considering the impact liquid calories are having on your waist line?
We all appreciate that alcohol contains empty calories, but we’re not taking about a pint of lager, or weekend cocktails, we’re talking day to day liquid calories.
Are you mindful of the caloric content of the milk and sugar in your cups of tea?
Are you aware of the caloric content of your latte’s and cappuccino’s?
And that energy drink you’re having mid afternoon to help keep you awake, that’s got calories in it too.
It’s not uncommon for people to make great nutritional choices, and still not see the results they want, and liquid calories can be the culprit.
For ease, if you consume anything other than water, black coffee or tea, check the caloric content, and account for it within your daily intake.
