Good evening, everyone! This is Jonn from @ohiobirdnerds
, and I’m thrilled to be taking over @audubonpa
this week! I’ll be sharing photos that span my early days to the present, each one followed by a brief retelling of the capture.
I’ve chosen to end the week with my spark bird, the Black-throated Blue Warbler. This handsome fellow was seen in Spring 2017 at Magee Marsh. My lifer was in May 2013, on the estate of Edna St. Vincent Millay. I was there as part of a residency program (I’m a composer by trade), and took to exploring the grounds during the day. Migration in upstate New York overtook me. As soon as I saw this bird, everything changed! Thanks again to @audubonpa
for the opportunity to take over this week, and thanks to all of you who took the time to like and comment on these photos! I’m grateful for the opportunity to share with you all! #blackthroatedbluewarbler #jjactakeover #yearofthebird
