so I'm 27 + not particularly hyped about where I am in life. I miss the outside always + am struggling to find the balance of knocking out goals / chasing dreams + finding ways to pay the bills. I have a college degree, a fairly decent resume, yet I wait tables for a living (nothing wrong with it, just not what I want). I think what they forgot to tell us when they taught us to chase our dreams was that dreams cost. Cost money, cost time, cost sleep, and sometimes cost dignity.
Cities make me anxious + I am craving some wide open spaces y'all. Going camping at the end of this month to remind myself of all that I love.
I learned recently that the hard days of working towards what you want is *actually" living the dream. So I'm living my dream y'all. Thankful. Onward Always.

Somehow we seem to end up on a cruise every year. It’s our default vacation option because you get to visit so many places while having a home base (no packing, unpacking, catching transportation). There are entertainment/food options, and you get to unplug if you want (or have no choice lol - the sea WiFi is painfully slow). Granted you miss out really getting a feel for a new city or town because you don’t have the opportunity to feel the pulse or sereneness of the nightlife or morning but it’s enough of a taste. Plus it’s like a vacation sampler - if we feel we like a spot, we can come back.
Pool time in the wintertime?!!! Say no more 😏🏊🏾♀️ I strongly believe in taking time for yourself. For the longest I moved in ways that pleased others rather than myself. Now I choose to live & move for me. Whether it be travel or trying something new, it’s for me and I love that. Swim 🌊 over to the link in my bio to watch my full vlog of my time at @atlanticmastoronto Carnival Ski Weekend because honeyy it was a vibe!
The bell is customarily rung before one enters the temple to spread the eternal teachings of Buddha. Ringing the bell will purify the mind of evil spirits and temptation. It is said that ringing this bell will bring you happiness, blessings, and a long life. It is customarily rung before entering the temple #hawaii#travelgram#instatravel
