Patiently waiting for the day when my right hammie is this bendy again. 🙏
After a few weeks of not doing much to heal my strained hammie because I was so convinced it would probably get better the next day, I finally started consistently rehabbing it with SMR, trigger point balls, chiro and deep tissue massage and now it’s been relatively painless for 2 days now!! 😬😬 I’ll be powerlifting and contortionist training again in no time, but in a safe and steady manner of course. 😅💯

I needed a change 🙌🏻 So often I hear reasons why people shy away from a healthy lifestyle change. It has to do with they "aren't ready" which I get. I just hope you are not waiting for the "right time" because there is never a "right time." Jump out of that comfort zone girl and just give it a try!! Who cares what others may think🤸♀️ Do it for YOU!

I hesitated to post these, but I've shown more wearing less. For the past few weeks, I've been trying to figure out how to make a lifestyle change in terms of my diet 🍕🍟🍔🍳🍝🍦🍩🍫 When people see me, they comment on my small size, on the luck I have to be "skinny". What some of these people don't know is that I don't like to be seen that way. "Skinny" sounds unhealthy to me, and, in that context, it's true. I may have been born with genetics that grant me a thin figure and small body, but what I put into it every day continues to leave a greater impact. I understand and accept that everyone has belly rolls when they sit or bend over, and I have stretch marks and cellulite on the back of my thighs. But I can do better. I've been looking into starting the 28 Day Reset by @blogilates
, cutting out gluten, dairy, sugars, and processed grains. 🍎🥕🥒🥗 I'm sure people I follow or who follow me have done it, so any advice or guidance would be helpful! I'm also thinking of buying the at home workout guide by @xogingy
and taking time to go to the gym to start lifting weights. 🏋️♀️ I've already started a new fitness adventure at @integrated_aerials

I am often the first person to get to barre class in the morning.
I don’t really know. But I sort of tie it to my lifelong predisposition of wanting to be a good student. I wasn’t always the ~best~ student and I didn’t always get optimal grades, but I was never late for class, I liked sitting in the front row, and I got my homework done. (Stretching every night would be the homework in this scenario.) When I get to barre class, I like to post up in the best spot (which is usually in front towards the side) and stretch my body out while staring at myself in the mirrors. (Pure Barre has Oprah lighting and it hides all your flaws!) I imagine some other class goers view me as a teacher’s pet weirdo but I also imagine that I am likely imagining this. I’m certainly not the most athletic and and I’m not the best at barre but I’m good at getting up early and keeping my appointments so I’m embracing that.

Took Apollo on a nice nature walk today. It’s surprising to see how many people walk their dogs in high temperatures and not pack water for the dogs. You should always pack water and snacks for your fur babies!

Travelling inspires me like nothing else! It makes me feel beautifully abundant and incredibly humble at the same time. It’s an exhilarating feeling knowing how much in the world I’ve not experienced! How much I don’t know! ⠀
We were super jet lagged today but we still went for a walk and dinner to soak in the lush beauty of Lyon. It’s a slow pace and everyone has been lovely!⠀
