Raven: “I’m helping you, Dick. Whether you like it or not.”
She floated upwards, a few feet in the air, and stared down Nightwing.
Raven: “We’re family. And I won’t give up on you.”
Nightwing: “I don’t need a family anymore, damn it!”
He chucked one of his sticks at her. She moved out of the way, allowing it to fly over him. He wasn’t thinking rationally any longer, overwhelmed with a sense of independence.
Raven: “Clearly, you still do. Now hold still. This won’t sting a bit, buddy.”
She held out her hands as her eyes went completely white, glowing like the sun.
Raven: “Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos!”
A beam of pure darkness shot from her hands and into his eyes. Though, unlike most of her attacks, this wasn’t physically harmful. Both Raven and Nightwing’s bodies were at a standstill. Raven was now inside Nightwing’s head. It looked like a dark chasm, holding a singular light in the center. The light slowly approached Raven. It spoke to her.
“Hello! Looks like I underestimated your power.”
Raven: “Who are you? Show yourself, demon.”
“Oh, if you insist.”
The girl Raven saw slowly stepped out from the light with a polite smile on her face.
“It’s such a pleasure to meet you in person.”
She held a finger up happily, staring at Raven.
“I tried my best to limit the strength of my tributes. Guess I didn’t do enough research.”
Raven: “So you’re in charge here, huh?”
“That’s right, honey!”
She giggled. Raven held her hands out in front of her.
Raven: “Give me one reason why I shouldn’t kill you this instant.”
“I like you, Raven. Try me. Let’s see what you’ve got.”
Raven exclaimed the same spell as before with a slightly different accent, shooting a powerful beam of darkness at Monika. Unfortunately for Raven, Monika held up her hand. The darkness reflected off into every which way off her palm. Raven’s eyes widened, slightly scared. That shot was one of her most powerful attacks. It should’ve been able to cut through steel like paper.
“You’re all in my world, Raven. This is my domain. My personal little server.”
She smiled and giggled.
“It was a good shot though! I’ll give you that!”
Raven took a step back.
