~ Marhaba Everyone!!! ~ I hope you've all had a wonderfully productive week!  Today is dedicated to mobility and balance.  Full range of motion and balance doesn't just happen. It takes specific work just like most other training.  My workout was awesome, very challenging, and helps strengthen my entire system. Here's the workout: ~ 1. Banded Lateral Lunge Sliders 2. Banded Hip Mobility 3. Hip Openers 4. Eccentric Pistol Squats 5. KB Shoulder Mobility and Balance 6. Physioball Balance 7. Single Arm-Leg Push UPS ~ Not Included: My warm-up Band Balancing Single Leg BOSU Balancing - I wasn't ready for those single arm-leg push ups and it's evident WOW!  Also, if you are trying to get your first pistol squat try these eccentric pistols. They help build the muscles used to support the move. ~ The most important takeaway here is to just keep moving. Not everyone can move but if you can, refuse to let age, weight, prior injuries, negative people, etc. totally discourage you from growth. Hop in the pool and exercise, its easier on the joints. Use what you have left and keep that as strong 💪💪💪 as possible. ~ You truly can change your health and all it takes is to start small and gradually do more for yourself. Am Spielplatz vorbeigegangen und spontan ein kleines Workout hingelegt. Kennt ihr so spontane Motivationsschübe? Es war arschkalt aber verdammt gut. Apropos Motivation. Videos wie diese können den einen tatsächlich total motivieren, den anderen runterziehen und zurückwerfen. „Schaff ich eh nicht“ / „viel zu hart“ / „nix für Anfänger wie mich“. Der letzten Gruppe möchte ich jetzt was ganz Krasses verraten: ich bin nicht mit der Fähigkeit geboren worden, Liegestütze und Klimmzüge zu können. Ich habe geübt und geübt und geübt, weil mich die Challenge total reizte, weil ich es schaffen WOLLTE. Bevor ich mich ranmachte, konzentrierte ich mich zuerst auf’s Krafttraining an freien Gewichten, um ein Gespür für Bewegung und Widerstände und meinen eigenen Körper zu entwickeln. Jeder kann es schaffen, das ist sicher wie das Amen in der Kirche. Glaubt an euch und seid stolz auf jeden einzelnen Zentimeter, der euch Richtung Stange oder nach unten zum Boden bringt. Lasst euch von krassen Workout-Videos nicht abschrecken, lasst euch mitreißen und sagen lassen, dass jeder einzelne Sportler ganz klein angefangen hat. Ein praktischer Tipp für den Anfang: Jede einzelne Übung lässt sich vereinfachen. Push-ups macht ihr zuerst auf Knien, Pull-ups könnt ihr mit schrägen Ring Rows, an der Maschine mit bewegendem Brett unter den Füßen, mit Fitnessbändern oder mit einem tollen Partner üben. So wars bei mir: Mein Mann stütze mich von unten und schob und rief, ich sollte weiterziehen und ich zog, obwohl ich dachte, es nicht mehr zu schaffen. Häufig war ich selbst fasziniert, wie viel mein Körper kann und wie sehr ich ihn unterschätze. Fazit: Findet in allem und jedem Inspiration und Motivation, anstatt euch abschrecken zu lassen, seid auf dem Weg zu eurem Ziel geduldig, vertraut auf den Prozess und seid stets gut zu euch. Und vergesst nicht: Kraft beginnt im Kopf. 🖤

You'll know when you've lost some proprioception with the classic twisted ankle injury, try putting weight on that same ankle you'll likely to go over on that same ankle multiple times so good propreoception is important. Train in multiple directions to prevent these things and be athletic and agile!!
