rainy day cuddles with lilly + dev. happy friday, friends. stay dry!
Bridal party babes. // Currently really missing the prettiest greens and warmth that the summer months bring.
Trying to hold onto fall colors even though it’s full on winter weather now 💐
Reminiscing autumn on this chilly December night, hunkered down with LightRoom Emily + Peter’s November wedding 🍂
Gosh, y'all. I'm getting all sappy thinking back on this year. The Lord has blessed us with the BEST couples and the most incredible opportunities. We've photographed some really cool couples in some really cool places, and photographed our first destination weddings in 2018. But the best part of this past year? We've documented people's story. Its something we will never, ever take lightly. It is the biggest honor to not only be invited into someone's life, but to be trusted to photograph it. Thank you to all of our awesome couples who have trusted us this past year. We are so so so thankful for you! We still have 2 more weddings in 2018, and we are so pumped to finish this year strong and move into 2019. Soli Deo Gloria. Glory to God alone!

Finishing up this gallery over the next few days, and honestly kind of sad it won't be in my editing queue anymore. Charleston will always hold a special place in my heart, and so will these two since they were our first ever Charleston wedding. 🖤
The sweetest moment as Molly's sister helped her get ready for her big day. (Also all I want for Christmas is their hair)
This freaking epic film is coming soon. Be ready.
Just sent out LB & Marty’s gallery. Only three more weddings to knock out, so back to the editing cave we go!
Still not totally convinced Ren and Brian aren't Ariel and Prince Eric (and still not done obsessing over this wedding).
As the end of the year approaches, I’m in a perpetual state of reflection. Anyone else there, too?
It’s been a very challenging year. No use in sugarcoating it. It’s easy for me to get caught up in all the struggles and failures, and I think naturally I would dwell on those things if it weren’t for the Living Hope that I know.
I am choosing today (and honestly, everyday since it doesn’t come naturally) to focus on the joy of the year. I moved to NC to be closer to family, and I now get to see them so, so often! We FINALLY got Abbas’ mom and brother over here, after years of grappling with the immigration process. I have met some wonderful, wonderful clients turned friends! The school where I work is supportive, and my students are crazy but wonderful.
Please, join my in choosing joy. It is challenging every single day, but it is oh so worth it. Let me know how I can encourage you today, and I’ll be there!
the forecast is calling for a lot of snow and i am crossing my fingers it’s right because i freaking love a good snow day. who’s with me? ❄️
*forever singing Sweet Caroline when I look at this photo*
Caitlin and Jacob are a part of our LifeGroup at church, and they asked us to do their family photos yesterday. Afterward, I snagged them for a few photos (because couples are forever our jam) and y'all. I'm pretty sure they missed their calling as models. #mostattractiveparentsever
Woke up super early one morning to roam our beautiful city without distraction with these two love nuggets and they ended up distracting me with this straight fire 🔥
So fun fact: Hannah designed and PAINTED her invitations, adding to the list of reasons she's the coolest. It was so awesome getting to photograph her details, because not only were they special to her, but she played a huge part in creating them.
This chilly weather has us reminiscing one of the most beautiful June weddings this year. It is on our blog this week! @ashleynicolejohnsonphotography
captured the gorgeous traditional elements for the ceremony and stylish elements for the reception.
Ready to see my mountains again. After so many days of being surrounded by flat land I start itching for those rolling hills and vast mountainous views. T minus 6 hours... // Photo of the lovely @christylynnmathis
I’m officially done shooting weddings this year!! I have a couple shoots left and would love to shoot a couple in the snow when we get some!! Anyone down? ⠀⠀
I also finished Christmas shopping! 🙌🏻 I seriously thank God for online shopping. I mean spending an hour in @target
alone is always nice but to sit in my PJs at home, price shopping and buying makes me so happy!! Is that how you shop for Christmas now too? 🎁🎄
