🌳Lunch: steam roasted purple cauliflower, kabocha, brussels sprouts, zucchini pancake (sliced in rounds, dipped in egg batter and cooked in pan), avocado
🌳snack: purple cauliflower (w/curry powder), brussels sprouts (+5), purple carrots
I roasted way too much veggies this morning so I offered them throughout the day! Luckily, the baby didn’t seem to mind! 😍 whew! thanks buddy!!
For dinner, I sautéed the veggies, lentil and quinoa (all cooked prior), and salmon in some butter and seasoned with curry powder
📹1: Thought we’d practice eating with a spoon. Since there wasn’t anything sticky, I held onto the spoon and guided his hand to his mouth so that the food doesn’t get flung everywhere. It was still a bit messy but not too bad. The baby truly enjoyed this meal, especially the purple cauliflower! I gave him some more florets at the end

Tell me if you can relate. My lunch times get a little scrambled due to the way my work schedule falls. Often I don't get around to eating till mid-afternoon, by which time I'm hungry and headachy. When this happens I want something quick which can sometimes leave me reaching for foods lacking in nutritional value. Now, as someone who is trying to realign her food and fitness goals, I am basically setting myself up for failure.
Instead, I need to prioritize my meal planning so that I have the good stuff at my fingertips. Which brings me to this gorgeous "bocadillo". Listen, don't be jealous but LET ME TELL YOU, this flatbread sandwich filled with 👉🏻 @lilydalecanada
oven-roasted turkey breast, avocado, baby spinach, pickles and peppers was the shizzle. I mean, it was GOOD! In fact, this photo hardly does it justice. Guess you'll just have to try it for yourself! 👌🏻
