There’s a lot of exercises we can do in the gym by ourselves, there’s also a lot of exercises we can do wrong by ourselves 😂😂
Here’s a way to fix a simple exercise to make sure the right muscle is working.
If you’re not feeling that Burn when doing these tricep extensions.... read on!
In the TRX Extension, we want to work the triceps. But making these small adjustments, you’ll feel that burn in the right place!
✅Start with hands by temples, elbows & shoulder in line.
✅Push your hands away from your head while keeping elbows in place.
✅Finish with hands out in front, one straight line in front of you from shoulders-elbows-wrists.
✅Keep core right, back straight, Glutes tight.
✅Keep tension on straps, no slack.
❌Bring your hands higher than your temples.
❌Swing your body OR pike your hips.
❌Bring your hands down below shoulder level.
❌Let straps get loose.
❌Lose your control of your core/spine.
Small adjustments to all your favorite strength training exercises can really raise the intensity of the exercise in the right areas! We can’t see our own reps, and it’s easy to let these hinge creep in!

Cutting weight for this weekend competition I read that failure, loss and defeat are just mile markers on the road to victory and that made me think a lot about it. I’m a fighter and obviously love to win but the art of victory is learned in defeat. And it is. We all know that takes a lot courage to compete, that’s why not everybody do it but I found out after all that the greatest and real test of courage is to bear defeat without losing heart. In the many defeats that I have been facing in my life lately I know I wouldn’t not be able to step up, fight and win without all of you. Each one of you has been there for me helping me to go through every deception, motivating me to training harder, to be a beast, to punch with all my heart and reminding me everyday that I’m not defined by one defeat screaming at my face that I CAN DO THIS, that I can win. You all made me hungry for victory once again in my life and I won’t never be able to thank all of you enough for the support and love. Now more than ever I will train harder and keep fighting strong. Gaby (Gaboss), Lindsey & Bennie, Dwayne, my coach Tony and Steven, taking the pic. I have contemplated sharing this but today I hit a milestone. See that girl in the lower left picture? She was really unhappy with her body. Her boxing class had just moved to a new gym and she didn't know if the investment was worth it.
See that girl on the right? That's this morning after boxing. I have pushed myself to get to boxing 3-4 times per week plus other workouts. My stamina is up and my weight is down.
I have lost 20lbs since July. My clothes fit different and I didnt realize how much progress I'd made until a doctor's appointment a couple of weeks ago. I have definition in my arms and shoulders. -
Dont ever doubt investing in yourself. The rewards are worth it. Watch out, I throw a mean left hook. That is to everyone in the class and outside of it for supporting me. -

in his off season. He’d never done any boxing before and has come on massively after his first couple of sessions. Working on getting into those good habits, keeping the hands nice and tight by the chin and bringing his hands back to his chin after punches. Well done this week mate. 👊🏼

That time of year again!
Colds kick in 🌡 and we don’t don’t whether ‘Training it out’ is a good idea or not.
Firstly, you can’t sweat out the flu.
But to answer the question of “should I train if I’m feeling sick”
✅Above the neck: Head cold, sneezy nose, go for it. Don’t go crazy, but moving might make you feel human. Don’t feel guilty about taking a rest day either.
❌Below the neck: Chest infection, sore throat, REST, RECOVER,HYDRATE, don’t train, this is gunna need some time before you can train and stress the body.

When growing up, I’d always hear the quote ‘never meet your idol’ being chucked about. Whenever I asked them why, they’d respond with “They aren’t who you think they are” and “You’ll be left disappointed”. However it never deterred me and I just ignored it!
I always wanted to meet my idol, who back in the day was @mrdavidhaye
! My dad surprised me with a trip down to London for Christmas to go to a meet & greet with David at his gym! I was so excited! When I told people, I’d get unexpected responses such as “He’s an egomaniac” “Why are you meeting him?” and how “famous people don’t care about anyone apart from themselves”. I was taken aback by their comments but I didn’t let it affect me! I was so excited to meet my idol!
My dad and I were waiting outside his gym in a queue from 05:30 AM, even though it wasn’t due to open until 9! Dedication that!
After waiting for so long in the freezing cold, we got in and there he was! Wow, was I starstruck! He took his time to speak to me, he signed a glove and a picture. He also let me have two pictures, one including a stare-out between the two of us! That extra photo was him going the extra mile and that meant the world to me. He was so down to earth, just like you and me. When leaving I was telling my dad how much of an amazing experience that was, and how I don’t understand why no one would want to meet their idol! It just goes to show you don’t need to listen to negative people! You can learn for yourself!
