Supercharged Saturday brekkie. Kickstarting the day with yummy French Toast topped with fresh fruits, granola, coconut and maple syrup. The things I get out of bed for! Enjoy your weekend! 🌸

Fresh juicy fruit topped with homemade coconut yogurt ✨☀️
Saying goodbye to Summer with Star shaped pancakes 🎇......🍂...
2 1/2 cups oat flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup apple sauce
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup beet juice 🍷
1 tbsp maple syrup
1/2 lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
Mix dry ingredients
In separate bowl mix wet ingredients
Combine wet ingredients with dry
Heat a non stick pan on medium low
Pour spoonful of batter in a silicone star shaped cookie cutter (or desired shape)
Flip over after 1-2 min or when side are golden brown, stack & repeat😜

I promise I'll slow down on the toast soon but I gotta share this one first😍 Yoghurt, my favourite homemade berry chia jam (recipe below👇) and topped off with a drizzle of peanut butter and cacao nibs🍫🍓🥜 I make this jam ALL the time - it's so easy and I like it so much better than shop ones that are just full of sugar!🙌🏼🍓
BERRY CHIA JAM: Heat up 1 cup berries (I use frozen) in a pot until it starts to boil, mash with a potato masher (or a fork works too) a few times to turn it into more of a jam, stir in 2-3tsp chia seeds and 2 tsp maple syrup. Take off the heat and leave to cool, store in the fridge!🍓🍓

HOW TO 👉🏼
In a large bowl, mix:
2 C @woodstockfoods
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup @bobsredmill
2 tsp cinnamon
In a small saucepan, heat till warm: 1/4 cup coconut oil + 1/4 cup canned pumpkin + 3 TB maple syrup.
Pour wet ingredients over dry. Mix till all oats and are coated. In a separate bowl, whisk one egg white till frothy. Stir egg white into granola mixture. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread out granola. Bake at 325 for 25-30 minutes. Let cool completely (it will get crunchy as it cools). DEVOUR 🤤

😅 I am totally, 100% kidding! However, on this post we’re going to talk about some foods that are the “worst” foods fat loss compared to other foods, that might be “better” for fat loss. Let’s dive in…
☝🏼 As you can see in the list above, I’ve included foods that I’ve dubbed the “worst” for fat loss. Let’s start off by defining what I mean by that.
🤷🏻♂️ When I say the “worst” foods for fat loss, I do NOT mean that these are foods that cause you to directly gain weight. They are simply foods that make it hard to lose weight because they are calorie-dense (meaning they have a lot of calories packed into a small amount of space). Plus, they’re often not very filling.
🥊 The punchline? While these foods are not “fat-loss-friendly”, you can still fit them into your diet when portions are controlled. Just know that they are high-calorie, and often not the best choice for progress day-to-day.
😃 Ultimately, eat 80% healthy stuff, and fit in fun foods you enjoy with the other 20% (like the foods above). And always play the long game! Patience is a major key!
