Breastfeeding and pumping moms, do you sleep with or without a bra?
I remember sleeping the first few weeks with only a muslin cloth over me because of sore nipples but also waking up leaking milk everywhere. Now, I go to sleep with an easy relaxed sleep bra and want to share my favorite finds to you!
The 5 Bras You Need In Your Life! number 2: Crossover / sleep bra
These are the absolute comfiest bras! They don’t have hooks or clip ons and you can easily set aside the fabric to nurse your baby. I bought my first crossover bras from @inaymoments
and I still use them until now, 1 year postpartum.
Halfway thru my breastfeeding journey, I found out about @ruminahandsfree
pump and nurse collection and got their pump & nurse sleep bra. I am such a big advocate of pumping and nursing simultaneously (haven’t you noticed) because it helps me multi task and also I get faster #letdown
with baby latched on one side.
So back when #bossbaby
was younger than 6mos old, I will hold her footbal hold style when she wakes up and pump on the other side hands free. This bra helps me do that and I don’t need to remove or put on another pump bra! Helps me catch those zzzz’s definitely.
Now, I’ve gotten lazier and do sidelying (it’s the best bfeeding position ever - more sleep!) but when I do wake up to power pump at 4am, I can easily pop the bottles thru my hands free pump crossover bra, and pump semi-consciously. 😅 A mom’s gotta do what a mom’s gotta do!
Some local stores used to carry Rumina but I don’t see it available anymore. If you’re interested, check out Amazon or DM me and maybe I can help you.
Until next time, #bossmoms
