Using chicken breast to do the kra pow is a tip to decrease the calorie and get more protein. Sour, sweet and spicy can make people happy. Several kinds of vegetables also could make me feeling full for a long time.
My breakfast is not very good. But the corn is the one of great starch I prefer. Because of resistant starch. Why do I say this? I will show you next time.

💥Which one is best for weightloss ? Any of the 3.
It’s never about the food itself but the portion size. .
I personally love white rice. I am an addict to be honest. But portion size is the key 🔑 .
Which one do you eat?
You know your Asian when the best part of the meal is the rice. This was FATTY rice made with chicken stock and chicken fat. Fat kid heaven!
Oh and there was salt baked chicken and other stuff too haha I even liked the white meat, so you know it must be good! The texture was soft but not mushy and incredibly moist. Very good flavor. 👍 // #BangkokEats #aroi
How I turned boring leftovers into a meal - swipe left 👉
We had some leftover brown rice, broccoli and cauliflower from last night and, waste not want not, I used them up for my lunch.
My mum used to make something similar with leftover rice and so this is where I got my inspiration.
I could have scrambled the whole thing together and it would have been the same nutritionally of course and it probably would have tasted nice but isn’t it nicer to eat something pretty?
This is an act of self care: I won’t make beautiful food just for other people, I’m also worth it.
Great visual and explanation by @nutritionbyriva
Which one is better for you?!🤷
I frequently get asked this question about different foods and my answer is always the same - depends on what you're looking for! Everyone has different needs when it comes to their diet.
White rice is easier to digest. This makes it a good choice to eat prior to working out because it gives you a quick boost of energy and you are less likely to experience any GI issues such as bloating/gas 💨🙅
Cauliflower rice is a great alternative if you are short on time because it takes <5 min to cook. It's also a great way to add more veggies to your diet. 🕐👍
Brown rice is a whole grain with more fiber, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals than white rice. It also has a lower glycemic index than white rice so you digest it more slowly and you will feel full for longer. This makes it a better choice for busy days when you have to go longer stretches without eating.
This is what I mean when I say there are no "good" or "bad" foods. Different foods have different nutrients. If you ate nothing but kale you would be no healthier than if you ate nothing but donuts. Aim for variety!!
Fresh lunch today 😋 Brown rice with chicken, spinach, mushrooms, tomato, zucchini, garlic and feta with a bit of olive oil 🍅🍚🐓
