LET ME START BY SAYING THIS: I believe in ABSOLUTE TRANSPARENCY when it comes to things like this. So allow me to explain to you exactly what it took to get this BANGIN color transformation. We had an appointment set for a color correction we started by FIRST and foremost STRAND TESTING two separate areas to make sure your hair could handle what we were going to have to put it through to achieve such a look as this. Low and behold 20 minutes later with the power of BLONDE AS FUCK by @pulpriothair
and the protection of B3 @brazilianbondbuilder
we moved forward with our transition. I knew that time was of the essence when applying a back to back foil so we called in foil master @hairbyjroses
to aid in tag teaming this color correction with me. This took us an hour and a half to APPLY even with the two of us. So as we sang away to our favorite old school emo tunes we foiled the red away! Our plan of attack worked🤩 and we couldn’t be any happier! Lifted to a level 10 with minimal damage! Our next step was PERFECTING her blond! I decided to roll with pulp riot ice toner 1:2 with a 6 vol on the root and then toned her ends with the same ice toner in a 1:2 ratio with 20vol allowing us to get the rest of that pesky red taken care of! Processed this for 20minutes on wet hair. VOILA YES SHE WAS A BLOND! We stood mesmerized and ready for the next step. We had a beautiful base to move forward from, I couldn’t have asked for anything better! So I decided to continue to roll with now the pulp riot silver toner smudged at the root 1:1 with a 6volume and then lowlights put in foils. Processed for 20 minutes. While washing this from the hair we emulsified what was left in the bowl into the blonde left behind in order to create this multi demential grey! HOLY SHIT WE DID IT! I couldn’t have been more proud of our results! Thankfully @marsgirl13
had faith in me to deliver such a change as this! HIP HIP HORRAY! Again, transparency is Extremely important to me and I feel is not always delivered in our hair industry. And I’m here to take that back! So here we have it. A before and after to be remembered.
