As of tomorrow this will be me again, doctor and she says I can go back to working out 2-3 times a weeks. So I did another live video today and I didn't die! 🏆 . Today I talked about some key ideas from the book I finished reading last week. Each chapter was a concept and phrase to implement in your life to get out of your head actually start living it! 😎 The problem that so many people run into - and I've been guilty of this too - is being a knowledge hoarder. We've always heard knowledge is power so you read a lot of books but never do anything with the concepts or workable actions. So saying knowledge is power really isn't true anymore. We have knowledge constantly at our fingertips! 📱💻📚 ACTION is power! What you do with that knowledge is power! If you're curious of some the workable actions from this book, watch my video or read the book 😊 . In my Tuesday videos, I'm going to tell you the things I've learned, what has been working for me that I have applied (because we're not going to be knowledge hoarders anymore, right? 😏), and then you can make your own decision on what you want to apply to your life - if anything! . Another one of my goals I wrote in my Start Today Journal is that I want to down size my life. Get ride if the things that don’t bring value to my life. In the podcast that my husband listens to...The Minimalists...they have a 30 day challenge. Get rid of one thing in day one, two things on day two, three things on day three, and so on...for a total of 465 thing! I did NOT want to get out of bed this morning 😩 . Not sure if it’s the bitter cold, the full moon, the lack of sleep- or a combo platter 🤷‍♀️🥶 But my energy and motivation is 👎👎 BUT- I am an adult so up I get. . I’m giving it to God while also seeking the best doctors out there. 👌🏼 So whatever battle you are facing today, maybe it’s physical, mental, or financial, you are not alone. You can get through this and you can overcome it. If you have no one to believe with you, I’ll be your believer. I’ll believe for bigger and better things, I’ll believe for supernatural intervention and hope like never before. I’ll believe that where you see a dead end, a new route is being created. Day 8/42: I start each day by stepping on the scale. The scale used to be such a trigger. Right up there with tracking. When I committed to this program, I committed to going all in. So here I am, doing what I once thought I wouldn’t! #thatssomethingtocelebrate In ONE day I went from 192 to 195.6! Thank goodness for tracking AND photographing this journey! Those two activities, along with 🧘🏼‍♀️, SAVED me from a mental collapse today! From the photo I can see that my waist is shrinking. The best transformation came during today’s workout. Instead of letting the number on the scale define me, I decided to let another number define me. Swipe left to hear the full story. Sweet girl, your weight is just a number. You can continue to let that number define you negatively OR you can choose to define yourself by another #! Today I chose to define my worth by the number of reps I increased in my workout. The # proved I’m stronger. By the number of deep breaths I took when I wanted to scream out of frustration. That # proved I’m calmer. By the number of positive affirmations I repeated to myself when I was in down dog on my yoga mat because my anxiety was taking over, filling my mind with loads of negative self-hate. That # proved my self-awareness is increasing and I’m learning to coach myself through the process of loving myself. #loveyourselfthroughit If you’re going to define yourself by a number, make it a number that actually represents who YOU are on a heart level.
