Day 8/42: I start each day by stepping on the scale. The scale used to be such a trigger. Right up there with tracking. When I committed to this program, I committed to going all in. So here I am, doing what I once thought I wouldn’t! #thatssomethingtocelebrate
In ONE day I went from 192 to 195.6! Thank goodness for tracking AND photographing this journey! Those two activities, along with 🧘🏼♀️, SAVED me from a mental collapse today! From the photo I can see that my waist is shrinking. The best transformation came during today’s workout. Instead of letting the number on the scale define me, I decided to let another number define me. Swipe left to hear the full story.
Sweet girl, your weight is just a number. You can continue to let that number define you negatively OR you can choose to define yourself by another #! Today I chose to define my worth by the number of reps I increased in my workout. The # proved I’m stronger. By the number of deep breaths I took when I wanted to scream out of frustration. That # proved I’m calmer. By the number of positive affirmations I repeated to myself when I was in down dog on my yoga mat because my anxiety was taking over, filling my mind with loads of negative self-hate. That # proved my self-awareness is increasing and I’m learning to coach myself through the process of loving myself. #loveyourselfthroughit
If you’re going to define yourself by a number, make it a number that actually represents who YOU are on a heart level. That’s the number that’s going to make you feel the most satisfied, the most transformed. 💋KL
