Little look back at my 10,000 cal burn challenge! I had a couple hundred calories left & my body was telling me ZACK RELAX MAN WE NEED A BREAK! You just put us through 4 workouts all together lasting a total of 7 hours!
I found at this exact moment to be a great lesson for me! Where I was able to mentally focus and tell my body we aren’t giving up and we are going to complete this challenge.
Mentally I have grown and learned from this challenge and as well seeing how far i can push my body and it’s work capacity!
Honestly no matter how crazy people think I am or how crazy this challenge is! Athletically it put me in a great mental and physical state. Can’t wait to see what imma accomplish next 🤓👊🏼💪🏼! Thanks to the team suffering and trucking it out with me throughout that whole day!

Mom & Dad !!! Use this guys to fuel you! You don’t need to burn 10,000 cals but going to workout and move for an hour or even 30 mins a day is going to set your body and mind on the right path!

So this is sort of related to yesterday's post about being "RELAXED", that we don't walk around with six packs all day long and that there needs to be a understanding as what is real and what isn't. Basically setting up your realistic expectations.
On this example, we may be in shape but we really want to look in amazing shape, lol! We can be in great shape but what really sets it off, is a lot of smoke and mirrors.
All these little effects are like applying Instagram filters to yourself only in real life. Such as tanning at the beach, that specific lighting in your house where you can see all yours abs. Oh don't forget the #instapump
you get whenever you snap that selfie after a carb refeed day on the upper hypertrophy workout!

I struggle with portion control so this guide is a useful tool to help me. Judge for yourself after trying this for a month or so. You will feel hungry at first changing your intake but doing it gradually is good too. A small step forward is still a step forward. 🐳 *Tip: eat slower. Our mind takes longer to link up to how full our stomach feels which is one reason we often feel overstuffed. 🦀*Tip: lots of water between meals help with curbing my appetite. Sometimes my desire for food actually is thirst.

What’s your favorite chest and back exercise?
Looking to make some major chest and back gains? Save this post and try this superset out!
Reverse grip bench 5x10
Underhand power pendlay rows 5x10
What’s the twist? No rest between each set. However long it takes to get to the other exercise is how long you rest. If you are not conditioned enough though, feel free to rest 30-60 seconds.
Reverse grip bench is in my opinion the ultimate upper chest builder and best bench press variation. Underhand rows allow you to attack your biceps harder than normal rows and targets more mid to lower back vs the normal variation that targets mainly upper back.
I do both regular wide grip and underhand pendlay rows each week to hit every part of my back I can!
With a proper plan in place, you really can achieve some great things.
Suya and garri 😍😍😍 it's been while. There was a time we couldn't go a week without eating this in my house growing up. My father will buy pleeeenty suya, then he'll get home and spread it on the dining table, I'll go get bowls for him to divide it for us 😂😂, then we'll be begging that he put "tozo" in our individial bowls. If you don't know "tozo" is fat, yes fat, very juicy and amazing something 😁😁, but let's not talk about the calories 😢😢. So tonight I've got 3/8 cup garri, 150g chicken suya (bone included) and some veggies by the side. The suya is N400 and I asked them not to add oil when heating it. I'm estimating calories in chicken to be about 250cal. With the garri, total is 490cal. Good night guys 😘😘😘

BENCH PRESS TECHNIQUE TIPS! -
1️⃣When you lower the bar down, aim to hit your sternum and have your elbows about 45 degrees away from your body. This doesn’t need to be exact and will be slightly different for different lifters, but somewhere in that general vicinity will set you up for success. If your elbows are flared too far out, you’ll put your shoulders in a more vulnerable position for potential injury. Also, as the weights get heavier, you won’t be as strong with your elbows straight out or tucked into your sides as you would be somewhere in between!
2️⃣Try to get your wrists stacked directly over your elbows in the bottom position. This will give you the best leverage to press from, making it a stronger alignment than if the bar was slightly in front of or behind the elbows. This doesn’t mean that you should press directly upwards - many advanced lifters press in a more curved fashion - but they still start from a vertical forearm position at the bottom!

Which breakfast food is the best at helping you burn fat all day long?
According to a study from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, a high-fat breakfast can actually help the body break down fats already in your body! However, one fatty food in particular was cited as providing the most benefits.
Eggs have healthy fat, and this contributes to a higher fat oxidation in the body. In contrast, those who eat a high-carb breakfast showed slower signs of fat oxidation, among other health issues, according to the study.
