Chic@s, ya tenemos fecha para el segundo evento del año (recuerda que el primero es el 5km del domingo 20 de enero)... Que mejor manera de seguir bajando los excesos de las navidades que con 50 #burpees
para la categoría SCALED y 100 #burpees
para la categoría RX.
Ya podéis inscribiros en el BOX en la categoría que más os convenga y si todavía crees que no puedes con estos poquitos burpees, tu labor como juez será de gran ayuda.

Eating fat does NOT make you fat. Eating too many calories 'makes you fat'.
The reason why fat got such a hard time in the 1970's is that the clever people in their white coats worked out that each gram of fat equates to 9 calories. Where with carbohydrates & protein, each gram only contains 4 calories.
Cue pandemonium! We need to eat less fat!! No, we need to control our calories.
Energy balance is the key to every form of weight loss diet ever created. From Atkins, to Intermittent Fasting to Paleo. Everything out there comes back to one simple point...
In every study and research on dieting and weight loss the ONLY factor that was consistent on how to loose weight was: .
Intake Vs Output
Total calories consumed versus total calories burnt.
And that is exactly what energy balance is. Calories absorbed against calories used. If you work to a caloric deficit (consuming less calories than you use), you will lose weight). If you work to a caloric surplus (consuming more calories than you use), you will gain weight.
Nothing to do with fat. Nothing to do with carbs, sugar, bread or dairy.

Il Burpees è un esercizio a cavallo tra l’allenamento metabolico e la ginnastica. È un esercizio che permette un buon lavoro cardiovascolare. Il burpees allena i muscoli pettorali, i deltoidi anteriori, i tricipiti, il CORE e le gambe.
👉🏻 Quali sono gli errori più comuni?
- Scendere a terra e non completare la distensione del petto a terra. - Saltare e non distendere completamente il bacino, rimanendo così un po’ piegati. - Non assumere un ritmo costante nella respirazione.
👉🏻 A cosa servono i burpees?
Sono un ottimo esercizio metabolico-cardiovascolare. Sono indicati per chi si vuole mettere in forma, dimagrire (iniziate in modo graduale) e per chi vuole migliorare il proprio conditioning (nel crossfit o negli sport da combattimento).

What you may also have is fat that covers them up.... so you canne see em. But you still have em! 😫
The most common thing clients, members and people think when it comes to abs is that you have to do a shit ton of sit ups to 'get them' (make them visible).
This couldn't be further from the truth. When this photo was taken (unfortunately not recent... God damn good times getting in the way of my 6 pack!) I was hardly doing any ab exercises.
Instead I was focus on compound lifts, heavy lifts, hard cardio (Muay Thai) and watching my calorie intake. .
You want abs? Focus on your compound lifts... so many of them require you to engage your core so it's built there. They also burn more fat during training and build more Muslce burning more fat out of training. Woop.... and of course make sure you are in a calorie deficit or the fat just simply can't shift.
By no means am I saying don't do core or ab work. A strong core is key... it's just not the most effective way to that 6 pack.

Clearly this wasn’t my actually workout on this day. In fact cycling 100km was the theme for the day, but what an incredible venue for a workout, can you spot my furry friend? .
Anyway, workout is for 40 seconds of exercise and 20 seconds rest (as always) and includes:
🏯- burpee with star jump turning
🏯- lunges forward and back
🏯- v crunch 🏯- high knees
🏯- wife squat to narrow squat! .
It will raise your heart rate and get you sweaty, so enough 😘😘

If we used the energy and amount of time we spend criticising ourselves into approving and loving ourselves how different the outcome could be? It’s funny how the brain and body work. Negative talk towards ourselves is always going to equal negative outcomes and it’s mostly just from small word changes and outlook. For example: IMPOSSIBLE
How do you read it? It’s impossible or I’m possible? When you are feeling a buzz for something is it: I’m nervous or im excited? When you want to make body changes is it: im a mess or is it I’m worth it? ••••
Today try it stop the over criticising and try small changes to your phrases and watch your day transform aswell as your glow! Give of the glowgetting can do attitude and you will attract in what you give out 💕😘
