I've cried a total of 2 times now while driving into Yosemite. The views are just something out of a fairy tale with massive towering granite cliffs and valleys of ponderosa pines.
The most recent tearfest ensued after the song 3x5 by @johnmayer
came on over the speakers. It reminded myself of when I was 10 and my dad and myself were driving the gorgeous Trail Ridge Road in the beautiful Colorado. It was around sunset and the valleys below were filled with warm gold light and the peaks above engulfed with rays of sunlight as 3x5 played over the radio. For years that moment inspired me and I never knew why, until it's foreshadowing appeared to me as I was driving on Tioga Pass to Yosemite Valley in the same state of bliss as I was at 10 years old.

Summer vibes are fading! 🏂
Had to hike blazingly fast to get this view before sunset and it was soooooooo worth it. Bear scares were high for us as the rangers told us they’d seen a bunch of black bears up at the lake. Definitely not the best thing to hear while knowing we’d be hiking down in the dark without bear spray 😂😅
This morning I cried as I watched the morning light dance upon the Golden Gate Bridge as the sun rose in the sky. I was technically still in my PJs and I wore my Teva sandals with a cozy pair of wool socks I often wear hiking.
The sun painted the bridge in it's Golden light and the waves below me crashed as seagulls swooped in the sky as though they were dancing along to the music of the crashing waves in the morning light. I felt this overwhelming sense of belonging I had spent years looking to find- I wept
Dare to live an intentional life. ✨
A month ago I finally had the true feeling of walking in her shoes along this beautiful lakeshore.
Inspiring view of the Milky Way Galaxy while backpacking 57 miles in Wallowa, Oregon
I put in the pictures, you put in the time
You put all those memories so deep inside my mind
If the memories we make, will never be lost
But the look on your face, we both knew the cost
Captions aren’t my strong suit. Sometimes they come with ease and other times I feel as if there’s a traffic block in my head. Either way, i’m glad to switch back from trying out realistic editing styles to my favorite style. Hope you guys enjoy.
Utah is the best playground 👩🏻🚀
Playing imaginary golf in the Mojave Desert. I know, I know... my form is perfect no need to comment how great it is. This part of the park is made up of halite salt crystals formations left behind from the evaporation of Lake Manly. I know this because Wikipedia told me so. A year ago I could not of imagined living in my car for two months while driving 10K miles around the US/Canada, or deciding to leave home in Mississippi to move to Sweden. I never thought about road-tripping through Europe with my distant Swedish relatives and new friends. Traveling has introduced me to some of the greatest people and has opened my eyes in many different ways. I don’t think there’s any better medicine than to see the world. .
Hoping to backpack around Europe for a bit. If your planning on being out here over the next few months let me know, I’ve got plenty to see. [Marseille, France 🇫🇷]
Ain’t no surprise
That I can’t sleep tonight
My only vice
Is standing by your side
Would you give me shelter?
I need you now
So just take me there
To higher ground @odesza
Gotta enjoy the Havasu blues 😋💙
My favorite person in the world always open for any new adventure.
I want to raise your spirits
I want to see you smile
I want you to be happier
Yes, i’ll have some gatorade with my alpenglow, please.
